Any thoughts on porting it to PPC chipsets so 10.4 can play? I still have a character and would love to continue playing since my windows computer died...

I have an old powerbook g4 in my closet to help with testing ^.^, but I doubt there'd be more than 1 actual user on ppc.

On the other hand, you'd earn a ton of respect from us techies if your entire regnum codebase was endian safe. Go for it!

I must thank you for porting regnum to Mac OS X. I said that I would only return to play, when it was at last ported to my computer. I am very pleased.

Well, I successfully backported the game again, now to MacOSX 10.4 (intel-only)

Expect it soon in your favorite experimental server.

I wonder if there are people still running this version out there. Is there any site where I can check this?

mac version is still a little buggy had about 4 chrashes today :/ but its better then it was last week.

I'm not sure if there's an official place. However, Adium posts participating user's OS version (and some other machine info). For context, Adium is a very popular IM client for OSX.

To summarize their graphs,
10.6.x : ~70%
10.5.x : ~20%
10.4.x : ~5%
