Hiya All

I'm not new to Regnum, But I haven't actually used the forums before. I HAVE been quite the lurker and avid player for a time in Ra, and then Horus in both Ignis & Syrtis.

A little about me: I'm a Teacher of a High School Here, I have been teaching for about 4 years, first as a substitute and then finally managed full time!

I found Regnum Online through one of my students ironically, odd as that sounds. One day I thought I'd give it a try and became hooked not long after.

Anyways is a few pics of me, I loved seeing many of yours so i thought I'd return the favor. Nice putting a face to a name honestly.

I HAVE seen you around, but I stated in another post I would rather keep my characters' kinda unknown with my forum name and face.

Mostly because being female has its drawbacks in on-line gaming, and also because of playing both realms, tends to get some people upset or starting rumors of being a spy and such.
I think you are a conjurer at least if I am correct, so I have said hello before!

I have never had this. Well, sure some idiots treat you different, but for the most part, with the people I hang out with I am treated the same as everyone else. Being a girl in Ro has no draw backs ;p

I guess its just that I truly do want to know if im liked because of me, my personality, my attitude, and not because of my appearance. Not that I'm particularly attractive (unless some men have fetish for a school teacher!) I Have seen alot of this happen in Regnum, where certain members were treated above others just because of their sex, while treating others with disrespect. I may have worded myself wrong, and maybe a bit rudely. I do not mean to say all men are this way, a small minority are the deviants!! But most have shown me to be very funny and helpful, dependable guys. So apologies if I offended anyone.

So thats why I want to be liked on my own merits and not even bring the gender equation into the picture if I can help it. I want to be known as just one of the guys honestly

a lot of guys play female characters as well, so usually no one asks!

Besides I do play with one of my students so I am trying my best to set a good example, so I wish to avoid some awkward moments. Believe me I have had some less than pleasant conversations, so It is really hard finding the right guys to associate with, and just focus on a mutual enjoyment of the game and casual friendships, without the cheesy come on lines.

That doesn't mean I'm not willing to try, maybe I should take a plunge and just see how things go just being me, time will tell if i have the nerve I guess!

Talking about this i am kind of curious about what is the female opinion about females chars after 1.08 update.
Was really an upgrade, a downgrade, or just more of the same?
