Conjurers going on strike

My first wish with NDG is that they try to keep the game from breaking too much while they make it better. No more destructive update please... Rushing improvements will not help. Right now all the skills and balance are done by Megrim, he's on the Warriors right now and balancing damage (beware, Marksmen next!), then there is hunters and powers for creatures and pets, a true pet control interface, and the talk about Warlocks that's going on in the spanish sections (Imho they are fine if damage are balanced, the teleport spell we've been promised a long time ago would be nice too...) and Dispel Magic fixes and Conjurers gameplay fixes...? That's a lot for one guy and all this complaining only puts more strain. Well I'm sure warriors would agree that he changes his agenda .

Conjurers may dislike when we criticize them, but striking against Megrim this way is just the same . Megrim is everyone's conjurer, and I heard someone that you should never piss a conjurer off

PS: wow Gigo I won't feel bad again for killing you even if you're such an easy kill. Consider it a gesture towards all Syrtis players

Good points but I am afraid that warlock's will probably get nerfed to at some point. Not that I care, just saying be careful for what you wish for on all of the other classes getting nerfed.

I have no problem with changes as long as they make sense in the general balance. Right now, of all offensive classes, we are the lowest damage dealer (but with the most "combat control" spells) but we are still the very versatile. Let's see how it unfolds, in the worst case scenario I have other chars of other classes. However, considering all the complaining going on from other Warlocks on the spanish side I doubt we'll be nerfed too soon .

Btw I think we agree Conjus have not been nerfed, they've just not been enhanced since beta except for the Freeze thing and Divine Intervention. Warlocks only got Darkness (and Magma Blast fixed) in the meanwhile, so we're pretty much in the same situation.

haha true and warlocks don't get nerfed much. Well, I really don't care because before I quit playing the game I will have every class to 50 besides a knight. So, that way when a class gets nerfed I can just move on to the next one.

This whole strike thing is just hilarious... i mean come on... if you play a healing class then ofc people are going to assume you are healing them. Its like telling a knight to take dmg or a warlock to use area spells.

If some conjurers want to be warjurers then fine let them.. then i will get loads of rp from those suckers while passing out mana and life to all the ppl shooting them down like its duck hunting season.

If the case is that all the healers ain't healing then maybe its time for me to get my ass into the game again and show u suckers how its done

Isn't the whole idea of a conjurer going on strike against our oath as healers? I am a support conjurer i heal every one in my party and if I see them others as well. I do feel that considering how busy I am trying to find them, since half the time everyone wants fight a different monster at the same time I do fairly well. I have had people in my party die but I do try to revive. Mostly they die because I can't target them,due to pet,enemy, or monster interference, or my spells seem to freeze up for a time. I don't think I get enough ex for the times I heal in a group, especially since the last update.While you may be out there bashing away at the enemy or monster I am working full time healing you and given you mana and sacrificing life for more mana to give you. I don't resent this I don't even mind not getting more points for group fighting. I prefer to level in a group, even though I can do it 2-3 times faster on my own,because I am a healer and I want to heal my clan and realm mates.
Just a note about the zarkit which non conjurers and even some weird conjurers seem to think are so great. they are stupid pains in the patooties ! They are jealous, you take your focus off of them or the monster you are fighting to heal some one other than them and they quit fighting and stand there looking smug ! They always seem to stand in front of me to the point where I have been beaten to death by a cyclops and others because all I can target is the damn zarkit! They have such a wide personal area that if they are near me practically all I can focus on is them I have to try to circle them so I can target anyone else.
Anyway not to turn this into a I hate Zarkit thread I won't be on strike this weekend.I may not like to listen to the "conjurer never heals me" complaints but I am out there killing myself to do so,it is my job as a conjurer and it is why I became one. conj. in alsius is mixed some really suck at war and offer no help

and others like sebrina , mehgan, boozehound, ect.. ect.. ect.. are great
there are plenty more ; too many to mention my apoligies to them
many of wars would of been hopeless with out the support of them so i hope they all know how much they are appriciated.

and thoose others please stop casting your summons in battle ; i cant count the number of times i moved to the front to cast terror and a zarkit got right in front of me and i couldnt lock on anyone. by the time i move and casted someone noticed me about to terror them and shut me down permanately lol

to all the newer conj. all i can say learn from some of the seasoned vets and please if u see some one kneeled down by a fort war heal them so they can regoin there realm mates in battle . dont walk by them and try and join the fight without helping them

I am Argentinian, so I often use the spanish forum. I just want to make something clear.
I VOTE NO. No every spanish Conjurers think that way. I think a lot of things can be improbed for Conjurers, and also for the others subclasses. We Conjurers are not more important than other classes, other players (It means other people who want to have fun).
But strike is not the answer. That will not fix anything.

Conjurers are not "good guys who help". Conjurers DO NOT HELP, we just play the "cards" we have.
If I choose a player that have 2 or 3 disciplines created to buff, heal and revive your allies I am just doing my job.
If you are a Conjurer and choose to be offensive you are helping to kill enemies, so you are helping anyway. (I think you are helping a little less that way, but if you like plaing that way is ok)

If you help just because you want to feel important or because you need every single player to like you or because you need for them to say thank you, you are not really helping others you are helping yoursefl to feel better, that is selfish.

I will be playing this weekend, healing, buffing and PLAYING the way I want.
If you see me, if you fight with me, if I do something for you don't say "Thank you", instead fight the best you can that is the way to really thank me.

both reasons for this "strike" are irrelevant and illogical. one, for those who claim this "strike" is againt NGD because you want changes.. grow up; those changes are boring and this is simply a case of someone wanting their class to be more powerful. a balance of all the units is vital to an ongoing and enjoyable game, and in my opinion, is quite satisfactorily functional at present. if NGD gave in, who would get grumpy next: marks, hunters, warlocks?

second, for those who wish to go on "strike" because they are tired of those whom would attempt to order you around and/ or command you how to customize your character: simply ignore whomever is ordering you around, for they are not you, nor spend the time to lvl your conju, nor did not feel like being a conju; and as such, has no right to tell what to do. personally, when someone attempts to tell me what to do (achem no comment), i simply laugh at them and go about maintaining everyone elses' life and mana and running in circles around the culprit. believe me, they learn fast.

i love being a conjurer and healing my allies in combat; but being a solid ally in a battle group is a two way street. people hope that the conju will support them in battle, and in return, conjus look to their allies to protect them against enemy attacks. so, if one is incapable of healing a unit in combat, ie they are in warjuror mode, merely dismiss them from your field of attention and focus on allies that would better be able to assist the greater good of the group.

finally, this message isnt meant to be negative, just functional. i enjoy being a conju greatly, and i find in my travels many allies who are grateful for the support, which makes dave most happy, but there are a few bad apples out there (warjurers and those who seek the right to command conjus) for which this message was meant to admonish. enjoy the game and be happppy
