Great... what about release updates ?
At the start of April, you are announcing you'll work on a new roadmap to be released in June... that's 2 months for a roadmap... Basically CoR is updated once every 6 months and most times it is only slight changes, this is far too slow regarding what you expect to change... In the past NGD did roadmaps, never (_never_) followed them. Once again, you are giving hope. I will wait for in-game changes.

NGD keeps on saying they will do this & that but they are just ruining the game. Dragon Cave was a shit idea imho. If dragon raids would had been like in past more ppl had stick with game. With cave raid same ppl go again & again with diff. toons. TDM statues arent up from ages. No good event from long time. Balance update killed marks class. Relic lock on haven ruined the server& this list is long. Well anyways lets see what will come in the future Best Regards

it nice to see this thread being opened. IMO, NGD, you should re-think about RNG (specially resists), major bugs and calculation of damage caused by amulets, in the 1st place. invasions and boss-dropping sistem should come next, IMO.

Congratulations, Kailer!
That someone that used to be a regular player of the game, is now in charge, could be a very positive development. I have one tiny and one big suggestion/request: Bring back Team DeathMatch I have met exactly 0 people ingame that cares about those grand statues/seasons/etc. TDM was fun in itself, and brought out the best of the RO battle/PvP system. If you do not have the resources to maintain TDM seasons and put up those statues, just drop them! (In fact, I'd even drop the armour if I were in charge... TDM was better when people played it for fun, instead of camping it 24/7 for coins) So why not just reactivate it? It's a pity this great feature has been disabled for so long. Revert level cap to 50 ...Never going to happen, right? But I am quite sure that Kailer knows the game was better, more varied, fun, and more balanced at lvl50. So why not? One could fix most current issues with balance, OP damage, grinding disease, and player retention in just one stroke. (Yes, I know lots of weapons etc would have to be adjusted, which is why this is the big request)

just wanted to say you should take it easy and plan for the long term. Regnum is still the best open pvp mmo for me and in the top 3 in the industry right now (for me). I feel a moba with some good interesting qualities for Regnum is Smite. The developers there seem to have the right attitude and results. 1) They have a voicesets system which is the same as neverwinter nights. They actually sell voicesets. Maybe regnum could get a kickstarter to fund this or players can donate some voices. 2) The devs there play the game itself. They really work hard on combat balance and feel. Personally, I think time limiting boss jewelry is a good way to help balance the game until more precise formulas and balancing is done. Here is one area where you can actualy be better than Smite. 3) Have some sort of voting system for bugs and changes to be implemented. This is a good way to ensure community is informed and responded to. 4) I think just extending squid island from lvl1-10 to lvl1-30 is good enough to keep the interrest of new players. imho Regnum is very close to being much more larger and popular. Take careful and profitabe steps. |
