We can improve this system. My main worry is other, though. How can people still hold on to the game while we solve this, and don't choose to leave.

Yes, very complicated and a problem cause. Realm switching feels like a real developing pain. But if it was taken as a possibility, would only be for new players (aka, Nemon merge)

easy ..... after invasion of realm lock their relics for 2 h or so and buy some peace time for realm that was just invaded and after 1 realm get wish lock all relics for 4 h or so ( just till problem with inbalance is not solved )

Turn on TDM, or do some other events, use GM's to host them and whatnot.

Making the wall re-cappable is a great idea! Making the realm door nearly unbreakable for the invading realm to take isn't so great imo. In my eyes an invasion is most fun when there is a massive fight for the gate, but not when the invading realm struggles to take it. The invaded realm can get back to the gate must faster so a 'good' invasion system would be the wall being cappable by the invading and invaded realms without too much difficulty but the gems being significantly challenging to take. Maybe put some negative version of the war confidence on all invaders around a gem? It would make escorting the gem harder and more of a challenge.

How to keep players playing the game while you solve the problem: Global xp boost for all realm (or all realms but Syrtis - although Syrtis players may quit due to overpop). So for the next week the whole of alsius and ignis have a constant 200% global boost on xp, Syrtis get there realm boost topped up to 100%. That'll certainly give people some incentive to hang around. I'm sure that you make a lot more money from 500% scroll when there's a global boost on as well. I was tempted to say add a wmc boost to ignis and alsius as well, but Syrtis probably struggles to find 30 enemies to kill. Maybe lower the numbers need for everyone and add a boost to ignis and alsius.

A second idea: All player in all realms get a free mount to be used in the inner realm only, or only to be uses until the problems are fixed. It wont do alot for the players who are already invested in the game, but it'll help noobs stay with the game.

@ Candyx,
XP boost for all realms but syrtis will not solve anything. It will only make gelf multis to grind their goats or pigs ^^

As I already stated it countless tmes, as long as invasions are about numbers, you cannot make invasions balanced enough for the underdog realm to keep playing. Or éven keep trying to defend.
I know it's pretty impossible to find a solution for the problem, that is one of the reasons I hate invasions from the start....

It's a good update that just didn't work on haven, there is nothing that can be done to fix the population problems

If so, then there's nothing to do to fix invasions.

PS: Everything was better Pre-invasions, all that was needed is constant events controlled by GMs and more WZ bosses to kill. Maybe TDM reactivated the way they don't harm WZ activity.That was all the game needed IMHO.
