Nice. I like the clan features. If they work properly, this should give some incentives to do some clan hunting/warring... Oh, and some competition over which clan rulez

  • In the future, some Objectives could be configured by the Clan administrator, for example, to allow setting a specific target or adding a special prize.
  • In the Clan Interface, a tab of Objectives is added which will list all the available Objectives for the Clan and its level.
  • The Objectives can be completed Daily, Weekly or Monthly.
  • For each of the 10 levels the Clan can have 15, 30, 45, 60, 75, 90, 105, 120, 135, 150 unique users and 10, 30, 50, 70, 90, 120, 150, 180, 210, 250 items in the Clan Chest.

Hello,

I have been to Amun and tested these new changes and the below are my thoughts:

1. I like the old notice text font when compared with newer notice text font but the animation I prefer the new one.

2. UI change to identify subclass is pretty neat, although I would say conju and marks could use a different sigil.

3. Can you please make the scrolling option a bit faster under the Members section of clan when a player is using the mouse scrolling button? That scroll option moves like a snail when you don't use scrolling bar.

4. As far the clan changes goes I am quite impressed, this has been a long awaited change and you guys did a great work with it. Pretty good tasks promoting both war and clan bonding. Only wish these changes should've been a little earlier because now my clan is dead

On a side note, what if a player has two different accounts, will they still be considered as unique players or will they be considered same player?

Overall keep up the good job guys, hope to see more of such nice updates.

Before if you put empty rank player was visualized only with name of the clan which was pretty nice. Now this great feature is gone. Even if you want to put " " which is empty space it is saved but it is visualized like " of Something clan name". This looks bad and ugly.

THISS NGD, please fix this, it messes up the style and looks of a lot of old clans, should not be needed. Allow us to have empty clan ranks again, because now they all look crap.
Respond to this please, try to fix this before the current update on Amun being applied to live servers.

Many people treat this as an error, but the error was to allow empty clan ranks. It makes no sense at all. Anyway, I understand the desire not to show your current rank and that should be a separate option to "hide my clan rank" in the Options interface. Eventually we will do that.

Yes, two accounts will always be taken into account as different users.

We uploaded a new version to Amun with several small changes, including:

- Subclass icon also shown in the Selected Target, activated with an option under Esc -> Options
- Fixed when a clan member is expelled and the information of the clan is still in the HUD.
- Fixed level number in Party List being offseted
- Rank details made easier to be read

And a few more minor fixes.

Also, to debate and check the numbers, these are the Prestige points necessary for each Clan level:

2: 300
3: 1148
4: 2706
5: 5106
6: 8460
7: 12869
8: 18425
9: 25213
10: 33313

And of course, in the future there will be more levels and more and new perks.

When the founder wants to stop, have you planned a solution to change "founder"?

Yes it was error to have no validation on this fields, but it was a good "feature". I think clan administrators will appreciate "hide clan ranks" option.

Just a bit annoying that these are not even numbers. I think it would be visually logically more pleasing to just have even numbers (at least every 5 levels :P) to reach every level, you can calculate the needed pionts to level up much easier in your head and you don't need to dust off the calculator

they made it if you are ranked "Duke" you act as second in command in case the leader leaves or stops playing

Yes, it can happen, but as the Founder rank means the one that started the creation, also means that if it had to be changed it should be to the next active member in order of seniority. It's not as simple as giving it to anyone.

That's why, in case this happens, the solution right now is giving the rank Duke to a few of the most trustworthy members of the clan.

Experience numbers in an MMO are rarely even numbers. Let's not overthink this

Are they doable numbers? Are they easy numbers to reach?

I think Aely & Artemo want a new feature entirely. I know I do. That feature would allow the current leader to pass on the mantle of clan leadership & ALL that that entails to his/her own hand-picked successor. Such a feature would be accessed by the founder thru the clan-founder-interface.

Also needed, a way for NGD/Clan to change clan founder manually at the request of those remaining in clan. If the original M.I.A. founder returns, & wants to re-assume leadership, then a 2nd manual change would be performed, but if he/she never returns, well, at least then the clan can still live on.

Most of the people I played with back in '09-'10 no longer play, & while still extant, most of the clans (& toons) back then are no longer active. In the years since, I've been in more than one that died over time once there was no founder present to actively manage it (sadly, Dukes CAN'T promote members atm).
