Well, also probably part of the reason there wasn't anyone much at Trelle is because not many people lvl around the area and the beach is now less populated. For the same reasons we seldom attack Algaros anymore, especially since we usually regroup at Aggers for many excursions.
I haven't fought in either Trelle or Algaros in ages! |

The problem with trelle is no good leveling places there for the 45+ people. Therefore the fort battles are usually fought by those that are learning tactics and strategies for fort fights. The group taking to fort is typically organized seasoned vets so they have the advantage. Eventually enough people will get on realm chat and the BIG guns will hike over and take the fort back. Maybe premium scrolls that would take you from save to save or fort to fort (in your own realm or maybe forts you own) would help get reinforcements to the fights quicker? Might make a little money for NGD too. I know there have been several times I don't go to a fight because it takes so long to get there. |

Hate to agree with the enemy but I have to. Alsius doesn't pull together anymore. I'm tired of bitching about it in Alsius chat. Not only that, but we don't even have close to the number of active players we used to. We're grossly outnumbered at every fight. If you really want to see some effort in recapturing a fort, take aggers. People seem to want to defend it more so than Trelle for some reason. Regardless which fort (or castle) you take, don't expect too large a showing from Alsius. Sadly I don't think we have the numbers to remain competitive in the warzone. Or maybe it's interest or teamwork that's lacking. Either way, the future of Alsius from my perspective, is bleak. One of my clansmen related an event a short time ago. We had about 30 players in front of Aggers, which is a respectable army. Someone said "Vamos" and they did! In three different directions. It's too bad I'm so deeply invested in my two characters.

There's only a handful of really active Alsius plyers - my clan is really active, but we are only 4 in the WZ (rest are coming up). It may be because they are loosing interest in the game - not sure. I do know there is a heavy spanish population versus english speaking in the realm and perhaps that could be the deterring factor. I'm trying to pick up enough spanish to tell folks where you all are hiding (I'm a hunter)...but it's not easy with the communication gap.
If you find me though....I'll fight

I'm just hoping we've hit a low point and will recover in a week or two. Back when I just started to hit the WZ there were some pretty good organization, plus there were more of us too. Lately, I had to prune out a lot of names out of my buddy list 'cos they don't come online anymore.
I'm thinking that what Alsius needs right now is a recruitment drive. It seems to me that whenever someone posts on the forum announcing that they're new to the game they always chose Ignis or Syrtis. I don't understand why or what first impression that made people new to this game to choose the elvish realms. If one was to look into the official rankings, our kills to casualties ratio is much higher than the other two realms. According to the latest stats, Ignis and Syrtis both have lost more men than they have killed in the past 7 days (despite us Alsirians being constantly outnumbered). But those are just statistics, it could mean anything. You could even accuse us of being save and gate campers to explain the statistics. I myself wasn't aware of the numbers before I joined RO and even if I had taken a look into it first it would not have affected my decision to join which realm. Maybe being dwarfish or goatish isn't exactly dashing or romantic... But hey, we're more rugged and mean looking. Romance is over-rated anyway :P C'mon you newbies! Join Alsius! For the supremacy of Lawn Ornaments, Goats and Viking-esque People! |

Maybe there could be an option on the 'chose a realm' screen saying 'i dont mind' that would just stick you in the realm with the fewest players, or least lvl 50s?
