Got my interest. Is there an area of South America that speaks Portugese or are there just a lot of players from Portugal? Also I don't think the language barrier is an overwhelming problem in this game. From what I've seen there are many people that are bilingual, many that have some communication skills in other languages, and most of the remaining seem to be making an effort to understand at least the most common in-game words and phrases. Raisin pie for everyone that makes an effort. |

Of course there is a zone in South America where people speaks portuguese, its called Brazil http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazil and man is really big to not find it or dont know about it.
And there is two types of Spanish, in Spain we talk a lot different than in South America, just like you said its like the difference between british and american english. That really reminded me this video http://es.youtube.com/watch?v=gmEp97yQcRQ |

There are also differences between South American spanish (eg between Venezuela, Colombia and Argentina, "listo" doesn't have the same meaning) and then there is a Catalan speaking community in Regnum too.

I don't know Spanish not Portuguese but you have to know the most common words like :
Vida (life) , mana (mana) , moscota (pet), loco (insane) and the connective word "la". therefore if you are a Hunter and your pet needs healing you could ask : "Vida la moscota !" or "greena de loco !" ![]() |

Yeah. I know where Brazil is. I'm Canadian. We get a lot of good product from there and that little country to the northwest. ![]() What I didn't know was they spoke Portugese. I thought they spoke Spanish. The video was awesome. Really educatioal. I didn't know there were kangaroos in North Korea. We have a guy here in Canada who's asked a few questions himself. If I can find some footage I'll link it for you. Edit: I found it. This is classic material. Hope the American players don't get all pissed off at me.
