I could go on and on, though if you listen to pretty much any of these you will grow used to this kind of music, Megadeth is VERY hard to listen to to people who can't take extreme metal, you need to take it step by step, if you listen to the wacko stuff in SoaD and Megadeth, you can listen to anything.

Linkin Park? Oh please NO! I heard a song one time called Numb and they were singing about toenails, then in another they were singing about jumping out the window

This thread is purely to know what music..your parents, friends, other relatives played, that you had to listen to when growing up... like my nan was obsessed with Foster and Allen and other irish music...at the time if slightly irritated me..but know i know she was just reminding us where our roots come from..

some one get edge he will like this story.... is a reaky WTF story but ill keep it short and simple

ok at first when i was in brasil i lisened to samba tipical from there oviusly and most well all my cousins were rockers like aperently most u ppl :P so i did grow up on a litle rock. then i came to miami praticly lisening to anything and getting in touth with my hispanic side salsa merenge regeton ect ect, now in midle school things got hard as i hda to pick a side most of my friends were rockers and finding it out was wierd we had a litle bit of preps lots of refs and rappers and a cuple of rockers so i became a hybrid :P like most ppl. i did choose rap since after the peace of sht living in the miami projects i actualy understood it and didnt think of it as wana be gangsta sons of bitches live rich as fuck and think the friking raft they came from is something LOL and i liked the beats im good at making beats ^^. wat keeps me sort of like a rocker is that ppl are always trying to convert me into one and most ppl i knew turned out to be rockers so i naturally go that way ...
