In my case, I always have my IGoogle page up front. It has the translator add in. While playing and I really wanted to say something to a probable spanish friend (who may not know much english) = alt+tab, type sentence to translate, click translate, and re-type translation in chat box... Or If I know it's gonna be a long time talking to such a person, I play in windowed mode to make it easier.
