On Sunday we had a group of from 4 to 6 (barb, knight, marks, hunters, warlock). We banged on the door of Effrais for more than 20 minutes. The guards respawned at least 4 times. I finally had to log off, and when I came back, the party had given up. Just couldn't get through the door.

Sunday on Horus, I was told second-hand that Alsius managed to take Hebred (the last Syrt fort Alsius didn't have) with a party of 9-10.
Maybe someone can confirm that, but that appears to be the size of party you need to capture the last fort.

After the update, a group of us from Alsius banged en masse on a door until our knuckles bled, our staves clubs and swords were toothpicks, and we were all gasping from exertion. The thing never did break! I even took a screen shot of us clustered around the door, and the battle log open that shows my knight hitting the door on average near 300 every few seconds. We were successful eventually with enough people and enough hit power but instead of a challenge met and mastered, it began feeling more like an exercise in futility that no one wanted a part of. Apparently horses weren't the thing to add to the wz, battering rams were. cheers, ~Lly |

and what's really stupid is the door regenerating while trying to bring 'em down. but i guess that too is realistic, right randall? imo, there's nothing you can do to populate horus except finally fixing the damn game & making it actually fun to play on lower levels. i can't see what would attract new people other then that... or just let holas on horus. |

very nice work on the forts however....
did you forget about castles? i've found that even though the castles are little harder to take due to guard placement and upgrades the doors seem to be easier to down than forts... am i mistaken or arent the castles suppose to be stronger? o.O |

Realism?
Server:Horus
Ok since my last post was deleted, whatever , I will try to make a more successful attempt at saying what I think and hopefully they can just deal with it. This game is supposed to be fun. Realism? If we had realism in this game it wouldn't be fun. Realism is best suited for fast paced FPSs. Otherwise not only would we have Server fatigue, we would also have character fatigue - how realistic is it for your character to run night and day without getting tired? Also if u are at 30% health u would be missing both ur legs, an arm and bleed out and die. That goes into my next topic, doors regenerating? I could understand if it if a party decided to give up on a door and walk away. The denizens of the forts repair the door, but it doesn't make sense during a fight to had a wood door regenerating on u. With forts being stronger its a discouragement to lower level players to attempt to take a fort without joining a larger party of much higher level characters. It takes a long time to take a fort now. Also when attacking a defended fort (held by another realm) some days u just wait for the other players to leave or fight them in the open because it is to much of a hassle to try and take an occupied fort. On several occasions while trying to take a fort I have noticed that the Archers at forts seem to have increased range at different times, prob just a bug. Right now I think having horses in the warzone sucks, I think they work for helping to level a character, but I dont think horses rented with gold should be in the warzone. Might as well equip mages with a movement spell since they are the only class that does not have one (ie. mobility, spring, onslaught). The warzone in Horus has not been very exciting lately and is very boring. |

Yes I agree, warzone sucks now with so many people having horses in the warzone. I believe that, with ximerin or gold, horses should not be allowed in the warzone, at all.
Furthermore, I think the forts are a little too hard now. |

So from what I see, NGD wants us to act as a zerg everywhere? In forts, with bosses, on invasions too? No tactics, no planning, no party members on map, only zerg rush? :/
