Oh but talking of running away like a scared little school girl, I do remember a certain panoramix doing that once or twice after attacking be at the old menirah save and then going ‘ooooooh sheeeeeet’ when I actually ran at him (at level 39/40 to his 50 or thereabouts, no less). Bugger always got away too (and came back when I'd resumed grinding; to slaughter a 200hp barb who couldn't see his assailant. Instant hp regeneration on first enemy player attack in, say, 1 minute, would be nice – but then, I guess the warzone wouldn't be so dangerous and stuff, eh? Still, a cooldown between camo and being able to cast, say, Ambush, would be nice. Anyone who sees me coming has time to use up all their PvP buffs, but they can just knock me down – and if there's two of them, stop me from getting up again – before I see them. Call that class balance? I don't).

Of course that was in the days when barbarians were playable without a large army to stop you from dying instantly from a single hunter (thankyou NGD for making barbarians really lame for anything except hitting doors and casting typhoon).

Anyway I'm rambling now. I still haven't killed Panoramix in a fair fight either

Mind you, a fair fight would need him to not have a pet (there's that imbalance again), because even n00b hunters like braveheart can take me out because of their pets half the time (I'm talking half the time when I start with more than 2k hp here, not how he normally kills me, ie. when I'm halfway through taking on 3 or 4 ignean orcs at once. I wonder if you get an RP reduction for that? I hope so. Can't say I've killed a grinder who wasn't a single pt'r anyway recently).
Wow, I feel really lame now.

I miss being able to 1-hit-kill pets with SC....

Hmm, this thread gives me an idea (which is entirely irrelevant to my own post).

so you're saying that a fair fight would be for the hunter not to use one of the skill trees.

I think the only way for a fight to be fair against a barb would be for the barb to use a one handed weapon.

Pano and Rulez are a team In most cases, why? Because a lot of the time there are more than 1 person to fight :P

Second they are hunters they are sneaky bitches its part of the play style to top up infront of a guy with 50 hp shout "fuck you" and kill them with one normal hit, ofc we all hate hunters because of it, but have you played one, such fun

Third Glucose you cant realy talk about running away, you ran away from me (back at lvl 38) and a marksman lvl 35 once, brave eh? :P Full Hp and decent mana to judgeing by the way you threw off Frenzy-onsl-spring.

4, dont moan about savecamping everyone does it ive seen 15 syrtis moveing from shana to samal stand at the sha save waiting to kill ONE CONJU was realy pathetic, but ive also seen groups of Ignis barbs and hunters run into CS kill everyone fall back to the crossroad for a minuit then do the same, untill ofc there is an = force to fight back, then they run.

Anyway back on topic: (lol)

Arathael you fight 3-4 mobs at once? Then your asking to get killed :P
