A poor trade imo,,, since you can no longer "moonwalk" (S + auto run) on Amun.

So far I do not see how strafing can be useful since we cannot fire spells while moving anyway. Right now it's just eye candy.
The mouse look adds a different aspect though. Specially for ranged classes. You really don't need to backpedal anymore.

Strafing gives huge advantages to all who want to fight something on range to which they dont want to get near. |

How so? You still have to stop to cast/attack. With the new mouselook, you can have an effect similar to strafing without actually strafing.
