just now I had very low fps between samal and green limit to samal. A lot of other players had this problem too (I had minimum 5 fps others even only 2, before the update I had ussually even at huge Ra invasion usually 15+ fps).
I checked the error.log for any clues: Code:

2 issues to report...
I mostly play on Linux, currently on Mandriva with Catalyst 10.4. (ATI HD 3850 agp) using Shader 2.0. In some areas, mainly near pn2 bridge and near Imperia save I get massive graphics lag. 2 FPS. It usualy helps when I go to options and turn on/off "Terrain detail". Oh, and I use shader 2.0 because anything higher crashes during large battles (like fort wars). I guess it has something to do with weapon/magic effects. Also, I tested several Linux distros and catalyst versions up to 10.8 - crashes with all versions.
Windows client doesn't crash with Shader 4.0 (DirectX), but in massive battles the sound engine crashes resulting in no sound and a drop in FPS (still playable, but annoying). My Windows drivers are regularly kept up to date. Another issue I noticed is with spells. When I target someone and start casting a spell which takes for example 3 seconds (like Projectile rain), if my target goes to cover and spell casting therefore gets canceled, sometimes I'm unable to cast other spells on other people using my keyboard shortcuts (1-0). Even clicking with mouse sometimes doesn't help. The only thing that helps is putting my weapon away and pulling it out again. This can be very annoying if you find yourself in a tight spot with nowhere to run. |
