I think it is a fun experience when devs play the game extensively with the community. When I was at gamescom this year playing the GW2 demo, the demo servers were not only full of players at Cologne, but there were around 90 devs back in North America staying up and playing the game with fans as well. Of course NGD doesn't have 90 staff members, but the point is that nevertheless it is a great experience when developers show how much their own game means to them.

If you think about it, someone that you war with everyday could be a dev. I think its a good thing that they don't reveal their identities or abuse their powers. What fun is a game where you have everything given to you anyway.
