If people want to escape a fort, they have 2 options: Escape on a horse (forced dismount) or teleport (Yay, no risk), which would you prefer?

You are right, it is a game! But what ppl are frustrated with is ppl doing ANYTHING neccasary to NOT PLAY THE GAME!! To NOT have to fight if you are close to being hit or killed. Only play if you have a big chance of winning!
And this mentality is making the game less attractive for everyone!

I don't want to follow the threadtstarter to blame Syrtis for any of this.
Tbh, I don't really care if a Syrtian/Alsiam teleports his m8:s away from a fort. A good personal laugh for me on how scared they are of dying in a virtual game.

But what DOES frustrate me, is when my own realmmates does it!

It's "us" vs "them".. and if you dont want to be a part of it.... maybe Solitaire or Minesweeper is a better game for you?

This rant is only about a small part of the current wm:s of Ignis/Horus. But seriously, some of them should really get their skills taken away :/

I don't see a problem with being able to tele out of a fort from within. So you might miss some RP not being able to kill them, they may accept that the fort is lost and would rather live and bring his outnumbered mates with him. Some people would rather run and live so the enemy doesn't have the satisfaction in killing you, others would rather stand and fight a lost battle and hand over free RP and help other realms complete their lvl 50 quests earlier. Maybe they may not want to walk/ride to another fort that is being attacked in order to support it. They did the grind time, I say let them have the freedom of some flexibility with their skills. It may seem like a waste to some people of a good spell, but it provides agility around the battlefield. Why do people keep wanting to take capabilities away instead of adding content to the gameplay? Maybe you should have taken out the door faster and you may have had the chance to kill them.
Also, I chased an Ignis WM to the top of the 'old' Samal fort tower who tele'd on the top platform. It is not just Syrtis who uses this technique so stop hating on us....
