I said, tries to be a WoW clone, and I did not entirely meant a game play, but rather technical development.

Good luck DMC in your future endeavours.

I will keep playing. more or less.

To my mind Warmasters was a risk that NGD took. They took a different angle and tried to 'surprise' players. Built hype around it. However, this community and general player base is a tough crowd. Many play the game for specific reasons. Reasons that made it a cult classic.

NGD needs a solid Beta Team that volunteers and operates to iron out deficiencies if they want to drop surprise updates. Warmasters was not the best implementation. NGD has to admit that. They can also chose not admit it.
They had to address these deficiencies because it was breaking the game even further. Would I have preferred they scrap WM update and raise level cap with a few lvl 6 spells or some new ones ? Sure.
But they delivered this and if I want to play I have to work with it (I do ).

I think they are addressing the WM issues and sadly they must do this quickly before things go further out of hand.

I do agree with Seher though. It is painfully obvious that this game needs to go through at least 4 solid rounds of back to back balance updates that involve patches on Amun, community input and a review of some great ideas put forward in the suggestions box. It will be a slow process and possibly painstaking but it is for the benefit of the game going forward.

Review base attributes and how they impact the game
Review CC
Review the impact of range and melee speed vs range
Review the incrementation of spells between level 1 -5
Review the damage calculations , the impact of dots, normals and armour
Review the balance between the bonus/malus of strong spells.

The game needs it, desperately.

Or in a nutshell: Prioritize balance. Monthly balance updates.

Obvious problems will get fixed, sooner or later. The sooner, the less frustrating!

Radical changes will come no matter what, so one day you'll be frustrated anyway, I just want them to come faster. Plus NGD seems to manage to break more stuff between those updates with just 2 per year (new stuff, like warmasters) than they can fix at this rate. Trust me, more balance updates are not frustrating, especially not long term.

I understand WM players not being happy about the nerf, but there must be players who are/were NOT WM and have been farmed over and over. Not sure because I got tired of it and I wasn't playing as much as before, but I think some players (don't have data about it) were leaving because of OP WMs. I could be wrong, don't get mad if I am.

I prefer anyway these kind of reactions better than some players on the spanish side of the forum bitching about team mates and stating the problem in regnum is how ppl plays it. Some responsibility is needed too from the other side.

On topic again:

I still wish the best for players and developers of this game and it includes, of course, Demon!

Why not focusing in classes considered to be balanced like knights and conjus and review all other from that classes point of view?
