No, because of many many bugs that would appear and it would have impact on rules and gameplay (jumping up "unreachable" places).
Other bugs are still present in game and are a priority.

During my time playing Regnum I've tried a lot of other MMOs. Usually the controls and the behavior was far from the same as in Regnum, yet I could stand it as long as the game itself was somewhat decent. It feels like NGD are trying the opposite tactic: "If the controls and behavior are decent, I can as well play Regnum instead of some other f2p game." Instead, I feel they should work on improving the game so people choose to stay because of the qualities of the actual game, not how similar it is to other popular MMOs in which case it can never become more than a half assed free replacement. I also feel that the efforts to mainstream the game are taking away from these qualities I am talking about, which creates a vicious cycle where the game will just keep going downwards in actual gameplay quality.

I don't have an opinion on the jumping itself but the falling damage imo is good.. shortcuts were kind of lame + when your in an enemies fort and your getting hit by an enemy , that enemy usually jumps down as soon as he gets hit and hugs the guards. Now he has to use the stairs

No because Regnum is not ready to accept jumping. There are hundreds of bugs that need to be paved out first, not afterwards like every time they try something new
Znurre I agree with you so much. They are catering to new players, but they are doing it wrong, and they are doing it too late. They should focus on repairing the experience of people currently playing the game, because in my opinion, it looks like it's on life support right now. Why is Regnum going so mainstream and why is it becoming such a generic MMO? Instead of getting real changes we're getting things that are taking us back, things that if NGD really wanted, should have been added ages ago. Jumping can work games, but the game really needs to be built for it. Regnum isn't built for it, they are just adding it for the hell of adding it, that's the difference. Changes like this are only prolonging the real, necessary changes that the game desperately needs. If they add jumping now then I expect more updates afterwards that will center on jumping as the sole subject. So once again, more time and more updates are spent on "testing" jumping because they obviously won't get it right the first time, and they delay other potential changes to the game. Quote:

realy?...
Jump option will be useful only when this game will pas from auto-aiming to arcade mode. Actual game-play: -archers:arows from archers have auto-aiming; -warriors:auto-aiming ,only resist and some evades that are printed out by RNG -mages: there shall not be any troble is normal for a mage to have auto-aiming; With jump and strafe : Game need a change to make this two options useful; Combat system needs to go in Gothic or Two worlds II combat style: - no more auto-aiming for archers...so strave will give evades to the arows and maybe warriors hits; -jump also ...when you jump you can evade.. It is a total diferent system of combat.....but second is more intercative that first one where you are 100% a target and not imply too much movement.Second style confere more skills of gameplay from human side. Now press random buttons...with seconds system ...not only random buttons but need to target and move a lots. Anyway with seconds system of combat need a total revam of game and adjust all spells because chance of hit are drasticly lowered so dmg or other thinks need to be adjusted. Anyway i prefer second system instead of actual gameplay because that need of players skills not only items and lvl. So if hits go from auto-aiming to a fixed trayectory will be useful ,maybe them position bug will disapear....no need changes for spells that can stay auto-aiming. This can solve also uber dmg from barbarian side, tricks that complaint warriors from archers... Even a target is knoked need to target that enemys that is down... No, because it is just a copy of other RvR-games.
It does not fit in Regnum. There are soooooooooooooo many things that have to be done instantly, that would increase the buy of xims more than implementing new stuff. |

No, because I cannot still hit a mob or a player if somebody CC him.
You get "You are not facing" or "you are too far" when you are really walking on his face. Correct the bugs before! Moreover Regnum doesn't need bunnies unless you implement a lot more things like the physics of the bodies (like the not-overlap) and much more...
