Let me count a bit:
-A lvl 60 marksman has at least 100 dexterity. With the new WM skill, they get a bonus of 15 dex. It means that they get 15x1,5 damage = 22,5 DMG (because 1dex gives 1,5 damage).
- What's more, by using Recharged Arrow (which gives 40% damage) 22,5x0,4= 9 DMG
- With Specialist, they get +15%. 22,5*0,15= about 3,5 DMG

Altogether, they get 22,5+9+3,5= 35 extra damage.

This is my thought. I'm sorry if I'm wrong.
Not sorry.... those spells affect only WEAPON damage no attribute

Get your facts right, specialist gives +10% on 5.
= 2.25 extra dmg
But let's make those numbers more sensational .
Dirthy fighting: +30% extra dmg
22.5*0.3= 6.75
Dead eye another +30%
=6.75

= +44,25 dmg

Speaking from a knights perspective with knarb leanings I can say I'm enjoying the extra bit of damage and I only have to sacrifice one spell of minor importance in order to reach it.

It's not exactly a game changer nor is it a step backwards.
It is just extra optional content which is always good, no matter how minor.

I was asking me the same question, who puts this on 5?
So yes 8% would be more accurate i guess.
