In Alsius we would be lucky to have more than three barbs in a team. Syrtis seems to have a number of barbarians too but I'm noticing that alot of them are just terrible at playing the barbarian class. Flavor of the month re-rollers I'll assume.

Its sad that the quality of your team is based on how much barbarians you have on it. It just proves how blatantly overpowered this class is.
Always? So you joined every TDM that was on the server?
I don't mean to seem aggressive here, but I joined many TDM's, in which ignis lost. I was in teams consisting of as many as four warlocks, I was in teams with no barbarian at all, At one point we even fought with a team consisting of only ranged classes. I don't know, what the overall results are, but I dare to say, that ignis looses as many matches as the other realms do.

Barbarians are the soul of tdm, however, they do need a conjurer, or at least a warlock/hunter to give them some support (slow down the enemy, dispel them, etc.

I experienced a fight against syrtis, where they had almost all barbarians, and they lost because of the lack of any support, while we absolutely destroyed them with two warlocks, conjurer and some meele.

I've now had TDM matches 3 days in a row and on these 3 days, Syrtis and Alsius lost 90% of the matches versus Ignis. Simply because Alsius had roughly 2-3 Barbarians, mostly including Irsh / Barbarian and Ignis had Donato, Vincent and some other guys I haven't seen before lol, but they ahd about 4-5 and Syrtis had 2 with no conj, 1 lock and some archers (which don't do shit if 5 Barbs are rushing towards you). Haven't really paid attention to the Syrtis Barbs.

Oh and let's stop the "Syrtis Barbarians just suck" / "Alsius is just whiny all the time" / "Ignis cheats blabla" and other bullshit.

Now on-topic again:

So far I've been directed to TDM all the time, how did you guys enter?

I was 4 or 5 times in lowlevel TDM's. The Syrtis team had almost always a huge gap to the winner side. That is surely discouraging for the new players who started in Syrtis. That their realm team almost always looses the TDM's.

I predict in one or two month Syrtis will be the new underpopulated realm

Anyway, there's no point in arguing over which realm gets the most wins etc.

Btw. new players (those who didn't scroll up, and are of low-level) get into different lvl tier of TDM (lvl 10-40). Some experienced players therefore log their low-level alts and join tdm to get lot of kills.
In general, I don't think TDM discourages the new players - I've heard only positive feedback from those who joined TDM.

I've won TDM's when ignis has had no conjurs. Every realm can have a huge advantage over the others. Just the way it is. I have to admit Ignis does seem to win a lot of the TDM's but that's mostly because we're organized. I remember facing from syrtis: Gondu , two other conjurs 4 barbs and two ranged we still managed to win.

You should appreciate what you have and approach things with the circumstances you're in.

Plus it takes places on a very nice open map (the old TDM one), allows tactics, let all classes have a role and is shorter in duration than TDM for the same reward.

So why no one is joining it on Haven ? I and some more people got bored of the TDM barb killfest in this boring map and we would like to try something else for a change...
Not every barb team wins, usually if the barbarians suck, they lose.

Its a matter on how you take advantage on timing, backstabbing-run and all sorts of wonderful strategies. Just know how to be a team player or a leader.

Well theres some space to gain advantages via positioning and movement, then theres some space to gain advantage by playing smart, and then theres a really huge space to gain advantage by the group composition.

4 barbs (or 3 and a knight) for a deadly train, 1-2 conjs for DI and (mass)dispells on them and a few ranges to CC and finish off is the most successful ive seen so far.

Also this map is ridiculous. Dont know how you would design on if you wanted to make it even easier for barbs, its probably not possible.
