This is just one of the many possibilities for a SM mage, then tell me where are the called "sacrifices" which you say.

Dispel lvl 3 fails a lot.

So by using your setup, a lock basically has no defense, no life steals, and no slow defbuffs. And you ask about the sacrifices? Bravo!

Anyway, for a decent SM setup, a warlock has to sacrfice a lot of ccs for the extra dmg. Also SM setup means, you have to buff like 5-6 extra spells on top of the usual AD and Barrier.

A Staff Mastery style warlock has to sacrfice a lot, you should probably try playing one, instead of making crappy setups to justify your lame views.

no i dotn enjoy bow ranges as they are.it makes archers far too easy for a sm mage.it was much more fun when they could kite for longer and have more chance to win.

5m dosnt sound alot,but with passive range boost it is a huge nerf and for hunters is huge as well.

How could you not see that the set up have yes the wm passive. Also, mind push is in lvl 1 because you are suposed to make it stack, with the static field which is on lvl 5 and beyond all...Please observe that this is a question of gameplay style, im not saing for you use this set up; you do whatever you want; Because the main pourpose of the set up was show that a SM lock dont have to make any "sacrifice" to max the discipline of SM, plus own the WM passive, sultar's terror, the discipline of elements maxed, necromancy discipline until soul keeper, etc, etc.

Thus, i never planed to make a SM guide for you almighty, but Just show that for a SM mage there have no sacrifices, different of what happens to Pet Hunters/Archers.
