And now for something completely different... The API lowers the complexity of the app while keeping the hard work in a separate server, making changes more atomic and smaller binary sizes. Oh, and if you request an XML, CSV or JSON from the API it will have less impact in the wireless network carrier fees (less kilobytes to receive). The only downside of Remote-API-Based apps is that you absolutely require to communicate with the server to update the status. Which is the same, since you're already bound to network availability anyway. :P

You can get the boss respawn times as time stamp, but you net a regnum-fans.de account:
http://regnum-fans.de/api/api.php?us...time=timestamp insert your username, your password, the format (json, ini, csv). Look on the API page for information (you can translate it with google). Please mention regnum-fans.de when you use it. When you have questions please ask me here or write an mail: tloi-forum@web.de

I tried to run the install of the package from the market place and it failed today for v beta0.8.7.
error: "package file was not signed correctly" EDIT: nvm a bit of googling and I came upon a suggestion to uninstall the old one then install from marketplace. That fixed the error. |

I'm getting an error on my Nexus One with Android 2.1 -update 1. It keeps crashing.
Edit: I don't know what changed but it is now working for me too. Cool app. Thanks! Posted a comment. I'd also like to suggest a few features: - A widget version - Allow user to set notifications for specific forts if taken by an enemy realm. - Use labeled maps like the one from Inquisition with zoom enabled on the main app. - Remove the quit confirmation dialog on exit. Android does it well enough IMO. Pressing the "Home" button should minimize the application, while pressing "Back" should exit it.

I think I found out why it crashes on my Nexus. It seems to crash whenever there are problems accessing the internet. Whenever my internet connection slows to a crawl or drops off totally, the application "terminates unexpectedly".
