Players who play just for win. Most of them are goats atm, but many are in Syrtis also, all the players who can't enjoy their game, those who couldn't wait untill they get their precious rings.

The people that wanted new jewelry wanted the gap between the haves and have-not's to be closed a little instead of a handfull of people being powerful from items that aren't obtainable anymore.

This update will close the gap after long enough when everyone that's put in their time earns them. People are more upset that the bullshit fort rewards that were put live were allowing a shit realm like alsius to farm 200-300k coins a week and have enough for one of everything while everyone else struggles and does without; fighting a game of already stupid numbers against a zerg of even harder hitting characters.

The fact is, this update was brought live and broke the balance on Haven just a little more for the near future, with a promise to fix other things sometime between now and 2k __ ....

You're trying to shift blame to players taking advantage of the system, rather than to the devs that broke the system adding shiny new content.

On topic: This tournament has been a huge middle finger to the Haven players that have still put a ton of money into this game, only to be excluded and ignored by NGD. Frosk and the Humulus continue to post updates on the tournament thread and dodge the complaints of Haven players.

What good is a best in class tournament if you just cherry pick a couple people from each realm, limit the matches to 5 minutes, and fail to put down ground rules when some classes have ridiculously stupid spells that shouldn't be used for pvp. I guess you figure you put them in the game, so all the spells must be good to use right? You should have taken notice of the tournaments the helpers and players themselves were holding the last couples years for some example on how to do it proper.

Elva is a dude if you still don't know what the fuck an Elva is. If you had spent any time at all in logged into Haven you would probably know that.

So exactly who's fault is it NGD didn't polish the update before they put it live again? I read that entire bunch of shit you posted, but you didn't even address what I wrote. The Elva quote was from Frosk himself when the last helper/player held tournament happened.

When I first played Ro It was the kind of game I never saw before. So I decided to stay and see what it looks like..after a full day of playing and reaching lvl 12 in my first char it seemed good. After I met a player it seemed even better. Meeting up with people and grinding/questing together seemed so real to me. I swear it seemed more than rl to me. After I reached 30 I made a friend ( First lvl 60 player I talked to). He took me on a hunt at lvl 30, that first experience was so awesome that I used to put an alarm at 2AM sleep quick so I can meet them again. I used to play Ro regardless of the exams I had the other day. I used to plan what I'd do in RO rather than Rl when school would end. It meant everything. The first time I spent xims and got a unicorn thinking it would actually fly seemed truly worth it. I never regretted spending at all. All the money I used to get was spent here. Every last one.

When I reached lvl 52 I got myself a Boss dmg ring. It was worth more than a real ring for me. When I made many friends it was even more exciting. I remember hiding in Ignis noble city for more than 3 hrs waiting for player to leave that place and still fail at last -.- , I remember sleeping at 6 and going to school at 7:30 that day.That was what ro meant for me. Then after the update regarding most of the skills took place many people quit. Ro ( Haven)became empty. I remember playing even when there was no one to chat to except for 2-3 players. That instant invasions although we lost everytime was still fun for me idk why. I actually spoiled my board exams playing this game. This is how much this game can achieve.

Then the first friend I made says he will quit, he wont play anymore. I played for a while but I felt like this game was done for me so I quit as well. After like 2-3 weeks I couldn't help it but to get a char in the other realm. We both did ^^. Hoping to make more friends and meet new people and have fun but everytime things happen that ruined the game. I now regret the 5-6 guard packs and 100's of dollars spent in this game. It could be used for so many stuff. There are people who spend way more, people who take this game seriously.

All I see is Frosk and Humules ignoring the comments. What in the love of god are you doing. Ignoring the forums because Haven is underpopulater? Too busy? too bored?.. is this a joke for you guys. cant you bother to write we're busy, or at least a simple we don't care would do. At least players wont expect anymore. I don't know what it feels like to be in you position but I'll bet you'll know what it feels to spent everything u have in something just to see it go to waste.If you don't yet you'll know pretty soon and that is the day when these players will ignore you. That is the day when you'll realise a simple sentence could've changed the outcome of everything. A simple reply , a simple consideration , a simple gratitude towards the GC's for the work would mean a lot of things.

Is that a way to talk to a GC ( FATAL) when he's in a difficult stage in life. He did a lot of things in game. I respect him and know a lot of other did. GC's dnt even take real cash all they get paid is xims which they don't get time to spend.

Well no offence at last lol. I don't play much anymore but hope you guys improve someday and old players rejoin this game..

If you didn't understand what I wrote before, or if you can't make your own image what i mean, I'll try to explain you once more.

The update was released pretty unpolished. I guess you'll agree on that, atleast now.
Few reasons why I think that:

• too strong damage amulets - huge advantage for archers over other classes
• absolutely no discussion between players and NGD, actually no response
• difference between end game players and lvl 50 players got increased wtf-omg-much
• no balance on haven - alsius got jewels instantly

And to your question: Of course, NGD is mostly responsible for the fact jewel update, and actually the whole update was released like this. But I can't forget quite a huge bunch of players, who were posting on forums nonstop posts begging for wm amulets, about "can the update come on live servers finally" etc. I think that could make NGD think jewels are the best thing they can do in RO.

If you don't agree with the fact that the update was bad step for RO, just think about the players who left RO because of wm jewels update. Correct me if I'm wrong, I remember, Wield, Skit, Drago, and there were probably(for sure) many more. Even I planned quitting, but addiction is stronger than my will atm.

Hey Everyone

I understand some of your frustrations but this is not the place for discussions about the game.

As for the tournament, the main reason why there is a limited amount of participants is that hosting an event like this takes a lot of time. Most of our day for the duration of the week actually.
We are also bound to certain time zones, the result of this is that we have to reject some willing participants. We're learning every day and are hearing a lot of good suggestions from you guys. These are good ideas for possible future events, but they come too late for this event.

Stopping the event now would be ridiculus and besides, the comments in this thread are a lot different from those we get in-game. A lot of players enjoy to watch the fights as well as the participants are who very supportive.
Many players are watching the fights, a lot more than there were on Ra actually. The first rounds haven't ended yet but so far I can't say that Alsius has won more fights because of WMC jewelry. They are on par with Syrtis as for wins, but had more losses in the tournament.

So in my eyse the tournament is doing fine so far. I've been in-game explaining things a lot of this, but of course it's not wise to forget about you guys here.
