NGD is quite a disappointment...they didnt even bother to lessen duration of the skill of hunters and lesser mana.. Next update?

No, they seem to have lowered the duration of the conjurer spell Mind Blank instead.

As long as I can solo an event and do it at my own leisure, then this change is fine. If it's a big zergfest in a narrow window of time, then it's even worse than before.
