I tried getting xp from giving support so i could level up - soon gave that up, as i got hardly any points. I lag too much at forts, so i usually avoid them. So i tried to get involved in group fights at the pp - but as other healers have testified, it is easy to get left behind by your team mates as they get rp crazy and chase after one low lvl hunter. This is particulary annoying, because moments earlier you saved some of these people from the brink of death during a fight. And now they leave you behind without a care for your fate... My thoughts when this happens: "I wish i was playing my main char right now so i could fight back." So i do... |

As a hunter When I'm in a group I have two option. Being the scout of the group, so going ahead and keep tracking, or I escort healers at the back of the group (using ensaring arrow, hinder, ambush to protect us, and call for help).
But to me it's the jobs of the barbarians to keep everybody in the group and to OnSlaught the slow mages. As a noob warlock I really appreciate people of my clan protecting me from guards in fort wars for example.

AwD,
I didn't mean that /all/ teammates suck, just most of them. Do the 2-3 times out of a hundred that people actually remember to look out for their conj mean something? ... |

summon to max you can/mental to 0/healing at max you can. this way you don't help very well with mana and you can't really level alone but in a group you're bound to get your share. in fort wars and in hunts you can leave you zarkit and concentrate on healing, or use it if you're in a very small group. i used to do that when i was leveling my conjurer but it was a long time ago so i know it's harder to get xp now. the real problem is that the group often don't notice you're disabled by confuse because the spell has almost no visual effect. in this case you often die without getting any support but that's the game. when you're high level enough you can protect yourself and most of the time you are the last man standing. |

When i get fed up of the grind i'll reset to supprt and go back to the WZ. Quicker, safer and free from the frustration of being pestered by hunters who interrupt my grinding then run away when they lose some HP. |
