I would have to disagree. If they fix the "luck system/block rate/evades/resists” then how bad the balance truly is will become blatantly obvious. Don't get me wrong the "luck system" needs to be fixed but along with that is also some very serious rework of all the classes.

no balance will be a lot better, it's not like warlocks will become "powerful" again, when they had this there were fewer spells available and armor wasn't implemented

Maybe he was referring to barbarians, huntersoranyclassfor that matter.
Its not only warlocks that would benefit from such changes.

And Tyr what did you think?
That they might remove evasion, resist and blocking completely over night or tune it down abit and maybe compensate with some other abilities?

This has zero to do with the power of Warlocks. Every class has some skill(s) that has excessive effect be it damage, block, evade, or area. As it stands now what keeps that in check is the "luck system". When you remove that a whole host of balance issues will be uncovered.

I know you do not see it that way but if you really look at each class can do (or will be able to do) then you see the necessity of complete class overhauls.

No I do not think they would do that overnight. I think there are so many that think that the only balance issue is the evasion they are not seeing how bad the balance is really broken.

believe it or not but that's how I always see it and I think this has something to do with opinion.

At the current all this randomness is the biggest problem imo.

other balance problems will be revealed yes but it's easier to discuss when it's down on the flat floor with whatever you have and see it in effect in game.

I quite agree with you, the randomness is annoying. And at least without randomness we could see what needs to be done for balance.
