Archer + pet vs knight = Pet vs knight, since archer is "SOOO underpowered"...

arows with 450 dmg are not underpowered.

Sorry, I dont care if they put points in it or not. It is 2 vs 1.

I would love to hit an archer with rib breaker or something to keep him from running away every dang time. But they are constantly out of range, hello?!?

If archer should be allowed to use pet in a 1 on 1 battle, simply because "he's skilled that way", then he should let me hit him with Rib Breaker, because "I'm skilled that way", too.

Seriously, gang.... too many people have been gaming too long to even know what a "fair fight" is anymore.

A hunter having a pet is no differant to a barb using 2 hand to use a wep instead of one, or a knight putting a sheild on his arm,

Also your knight(?) Is not "skilled" with a long range ribs breaker. Remember his pet has the same range as you, so keep moving and it will hit you less. Or just kill it.

In my opinion a knight should always kill the pet first, since it deals the most damage to you(a hunter can't possible keep using dual shot and ensnaring all the time, to costly) and since it's the most easy to kill of the two.

Btw, Brian, did you try getting slashing to level 7(or higher) and get yourself level 2 disable limb( or higher)? It works nicely against any class

No matter what anyone thinks, it was not honorable to go and hunt down the conj that lent me the zarkit, out of revenge or whatever.

Not from a guy who sits and lets you get health up and buff before entering into pvp. Which was cool, BTW. Very honorable.

Hunting down conj was not, though.

Best ways to anger/piss-off and either scare off or kill a hunter *(as a warrior):

1. Knock/Immobilize/Disable-Limb or Kill his pet

2. Shield bash/Beast Attack (or back-slam if you have neither) the **** out of him and disable limb him too if you can

3. Knock his ass down a lot. If you have spears, use balestra OR FEINT now that feint has the same range as weapon being used (e.g. the spear's 2.5m).

4. Cast precise block and protector and start running in circles to taunt/distract him while you msg your buddies to come intercept him. Hunters usually fight in packs anyway, or even solo they don't tend to fight "fair" so why should you? More friends = more fun while killing the hunter(s).

5. ARMY OF ONE

6. Don't try to chase the hunter too far if he's not slowed down by disable limb, you'll never catch him. Instead, pull a play from The Sweetness' playbook and start clapping like crazy

That just might piss him off enough to make him turn around and come back for round 2

In case you have not yet figured out, the whole idea behind the hunter is to NOT fight honorably, it's to be the sneaky, back-stabby rogue types.

I like a quote from Malcom Reynolds in the series Firefly,

Generally, those who don't agree with that sense of nobility and honor tend to play hunter (and play very well many do).

it is honarable because you and the conju CHEATED, the conju lent u the zarkit, and it wasnt a fair pvp. I've killed many,many hunters with pets, does that make me an uber player for wining "2v1" or does that just mean ur the worst player in regnum history? you figure it out...

Are you seriously whining cause a hunter used its pet to fight you? get over it. if he was in your lvl you should have been able to beat him anyway (both ways

) or came pretty close and if he wasnt you shouldnt have been trying to pvp him anyway unless you are willing to take a loss and not whine about it.

As for him hunting down the conj I find it hilarious and most other hunters would have done the same.
