Ah I remember that film, we are a hella long way off from a real AI plane, but there are some Unmanned craft that are piloted by "remote" from a secure location.

btw that movie aircraft, totally inspired by su-47 ;]

ahhh fought even to the 80's, perfect fighter
long time ago when I tried to make avian comic, i picked it for my main aircraft ;D amazing range for its time

yeah, when Berkut (Su 47) went "public", which was around beggining of 2000, that plane became interesting, especially because of wing concept. So I believe also director of "Stealth" was inspired by it too.

B-2 is more damage than good, IMO. That plane requires special sprays that you need to apply on its surface in special hangars,to remain its "stealth" feature. Its very expensive for maintaining. Design looks "futuristic" because of purpose for stealth ability, like whats tried with F117 (B2 has smooth surface, while F117 has panels under angles for "stealth" feature, if I remember well)

Lockheed Martin company (now part of Boeing, which designed F117 and B2) has some very very interesting concepts how new planes should look and so on. I have some concepts in books, which I couldn't find on net,but for example:

here is some of their projects, F 35 JSF (Joint Strike Fighter)

and "legendary" F 117 (for Serbia was legendary in war 1999, because that plane was introduced as "super stealth" which cant be caught by radar, and we shot 3 of them down (when it opens bomb cargo doors, it leaves tiny signal on radars))

speaking of outdated , I worked on these in Viet Nam , and they are still in use today, not pretty but the buisness end is still just as leathal.
