I don't say it's impossible to win but with a special chain spell and Sotw a hunter can win with very few damages on him.

Sotw block every spell(except if you are very very lucky, bug ?), if this time you can kill the pet it's not an excuse, the hunter has a 15s god mod. I hardly see how you can disagree with that.

I think it's easier for warlocks to kill archers in 1.0.8 because of the "delay factor"

In the past before global cooldown archers could use a fast bow and spam multi skills.. as could warlocks. This is not possible anymore, so the knocks attack + confuse combo is now a knock + confuse combo and by the time they cast confuse you are standing again giving you time to kill the pet and then punish the hunter for attacking you. Without a pet it will take the hunter longer than the duration of confuse to kill you allowing you to rebarrier an even use vampire drain twice.

I disagree with it being a god mode... basic attack from a staff mastery mage rape us, barbs basics, marks basics, knights can aoo and outlast it. Maybe you are not lvl 50 yet?

In your previous post you say it's easyer for you to kill someone because the other have to stay to shoot while the pet still shoot on the other...
Warlocks have delay too...a so long delay that you have no more difference between staffs speed. It's like i play with a slow staff and a hunter pet more glued to me if i compare with pre 1.0.8.

And ? You don't use confuse well, this spell don't avoid me to shoot on you. Confuse is not a big problem for me if i already have my shield+devotion on.

Elementals? Freeze ?

Try some of these spells... and use a new staff.

Well, mages GCD is around the speed you had before with a fast staff, So check your delays, it must be buggy for you - me and others experience very nice delays between casts, just a precast would be nice.

SoW is godmode ina way - but only when you use it right, mental chain is godmode in another way but only when you use it right.

ofc you have a problem when you Eat a SoW+stunfist+ambush(whatever combination you like,still theres 1 that is most secure win) when a pet is pounding on you - a efficiently skilled smart hunter without resists will most likely kill you in an open field without giving you much chance to do anything - but thats a design decision, and 1 small error on hunters side allows you to totally change the odds.

Thats a part of the deal, your a warlock with the most powerful and funny spells (single target aswell as areas) aviable.. go figure.

And yes, your statement explains why you dont fear confuse once you got barrier and arcdev :P

i don't think track monster is so 'useless' spell,

new players can use it to find mobs to kill around. espacially in alsius(kheled valley) .....very hard to find 'tiny ferrets' and other mobs......they r just spread out. that's why grinding for lvl10-13 for alsius noobs is a bit painful
