Hi, im looking to buy a new Pc soon and since Regnum is one of my main things I use my Pc for Im wondering if NGD has come up with a min/reccomended requirements list for in NG3D 2.0

I dont have a break-the-bank-budget (around £600-700 tops) but would like to know what Id need to get a smooth frame rate (30-40+ should do) in war on medium/low settings.

Ok problem is i cant run any other shader model except fixed (safe mode) which yeah Amun is playable but i cant get any benefit of the graphincs even though i am getting 40-50 fps. Dunno if this is something that can be changed please let me know my specifications are below

Processor: Dual core 2 1.6 Ghz
Memory: 2gb
Graphics: Mobile Intel(R) 965 express chipset family
OS: Vista

4GB RAM
ATI Radeon HD 4550 512mb (Supported ATI Catalyst Drivers for 64 bit Linux -- v8.60.3) / OpenGL version: 2.1.8591
OS: Ubuntu 8.04 amd64

Amun Test Phase 4b: Functional on LINUX!!! (STABLE!!! ZERO CRASHES!!!)

On the down side, while the current game version (1.0.8) runs 30-50fps, the current Amun Version runs 10-32(max)fps with settings at same "benchmark" as 1.0.8

Current Version 1.0.8: 75% CPU usage max
Amun Version: 100% CPU usage constant

Also, some slight graphical glitches. Some textures shown in water reflections show up pure white (note my characters head in the reflection in the middle screenshot).

And when casting spring/mobility the little dust clouds that kick up behind the running character show up as black squares.

But it's stable and it runs! I'm sure it needs a little polishing.

EDIT: Amun currently will not work in window mode. Sound plays and the "instance" of it appears on my 4-cell workspace selector but it's invisible to me. Only fullscreen works.

My character reacts too late. When I press "w" it takes ~1/2 second until my character actually moves. (Every character movement is like that)

intel core 2 6420 2.13ghz, geforce 8600 gts, 2gb ram, windows xp.

I don't know if you just rebuilt the installer recently (again), but I just redownloaded it and ran it. Before, once it was done installing the files it would ask you if it should create desktop items and whether you'd like to launch regnum immediately, but now there's just a "Finish" button once the bulk has been installed, except the only files it installs are data* and uninstall, there is neither live directory, nor rolauncher binary.

EDIT: 32bit linux

PostProcessing works not. I have to turn it off.

Looks good, plays nice. few black animations with spells; see screens
