Why someone made a city in the middle of the river?

Do you have any other means of sending us a message in case something happens with the pc you use, electricity or internet?

I live in a student rent house in Łódź, far away from danger. I am describing situation in my house in Warsaw, where my mother and brother live, where are my belongings as well. Read carefully :P

bank has broken, but it's being fixed.

Also, the street that collapsed near my house created a hole that could fit a nice van.

If there's an evacuation, I'll know about it in a minute. People have cell phones, there's internet, there's tv 24/7, there's helicopters with cameras :P

global warming, lol.

Well I rather meant that our national intelligence including president and his wife died in an accident recently, over a month ago. It was terrible what happened afterwards, including fights for where he should be buried, and then during gathering votes for new candidates, PiS, political party with the living brother twin, was playing on emotions and using pictures of dead presidential couple to get votes.
And then, massive flood, killing people, destroying thousands of houses, dozens of villages and even breaking into the most alive and rich cities. I'd rather say that there's a few cities that haven't been flooded in a huge country like Poland.

So yeah, I think that's where that idea came up

oh, btw, European Union just woke up and decided to give us a little financial help for those who lost their houses, animals, farms, families, everything.
Comparing to Greece, we're given pennies :P
Seems like you have to destroy your own economy rather than something would destroy everything a human can call home, to get some rational help..
