We have tried numerous times. And failed every one.

Grind an alsius character to 45+, try to do what you just said, and see if your opinion changes.

It's easier said than done, especially from the realm with the numbers. I personally would try to invade someone, but a large portion of Alsius seems to have lost any hope or desire of trying ever again.

Maybe for you is nothing, but you stopped a zerg that couldn't go to the gem direction, with multi-sultaring and barb areas, we lost many at gate and after the gate, we had to hold at the gate because of the constant wave coming from medenet, and this was really epic and fun, i saw a part of my plan messed up due to this.
I came on forum with the polite intention of congratulate with everyone, i am sorry if my thread exploded in a troll thread about population.

Maybe you just need someone with carisma, or someone that people like or trust.
I am not an alsius player, but i would have fought to try, as i tried in syrtis when invasion were seen in a wrong way and the realm was demotivated because of ignis constant invasion. When we successed our first invasion i was there, and we were proud of it. And you just need someone that push up something and believe in it.

No we just need an extra 40 or so level 50 players. Job done.

There is always gonna be complaints about realm balance, it's an issue that isnt going to go away(even NGD have stopping listening). For me the best fights ive had recently have been against Ignis...Syrtis...are just a green blur. :s

I was hoping for a pillow fight event...

Golem Pillow 5 (800 - 1200 tickle points)
and
Sultar's Feathers 5 (800 giggles)

FTW!

Our main threat during all our last invasion attempts is how to survive when Ignis rush outside their gate.
Don't underestimate your ability to defend your gate.

Yeah, I started to play during off-peak syrtis time 6 months ago and I saw how our "night crew" was constantly zerged by Alsius and Ignis for hours and hours and hours, that was really depressing. It brought some discussions on our forum, and took much time to teach IG to other players how to play in team, what other classes are able to do and how work their skills, how to coordinate their own skills with skills of the other players, who listen to, how to disable a troublemaker and how to encourage good guys, why we have to regroup before an attack, how to rush properly, why we must not lose motivation, how to motivate other players to defend their forts, how to positive everything even a defeat, if regular plans don't work imagine a new one, etc...
All those things may seem to you obvious, but not for most of players, mainly newcomers.

Now after 6 months (and a lot of ragequit, I'm not a good teacher ^^ Arwen and Ding are hugely better) I don't play much anymore during off-peak, but I'm pretty sure our "night crew" is able to manage any Ignis or Alsius farming.

Other times we take it back by killing you all off with the same sultar train you have been farming us with for the past few hours...
This is the point you have to work on. When I see Efrendi on, I'm sure we will get a kick in our ass sooner or later with a good fight.
You have plenty of good players who can take the place of Efrendi. Try to give them a good place into your communication flow, support them much more and avoid public conflicts as often as you can.

Yes, they manage our "farming" by sitting at cs until we get bored/leave and than zerg the fort with 15+. Fact is there are very few syrtis that actually like a good fight. Most of syrtis will NOT fight unless they know they will win. While ignis and alsius almost always try for samal/aggers while being outnumbered 2 to 1 or more, Syrtis does not. They would rather leave herb and just sit at efe. If most of your players were like Rat, Scias and a couple of others Im sure there wouldn't be anywhere near the amount of hate threads/realm unbalanced threads.

Like Rioss who just sits at samal save afk or chatting while people in realm ask for/need help. Take him back please . But to answer what you said yes we have alot of good players but there is a big difference between a good player and a good leader. Also most of our good players don't even like to lead. But if we are to pick a new leader I vote for Van
yea........

So, it's your job to ease their task and to ensure they enjoy it.
And be sure to give a chance to most people you can, Van will not be on, every days at every hours until eternity.
