Love this thread.
IQ level is marginal but entertainment level is high. I am not happy about the response either but being an adult, I must try be fair to NGD. Programming is not easy work. I give concession for that. It is their job but just like me (technician) it should not be their life. Burnout will happen quickly that way and then what? Ever burned out? I have. You cannot function optimally in a burnout situation. They ain't robots. With that said , I do think they work 40 hrs + when needed and probably a lot of the times. Considering you are looking at code, etc all day that is commendable. *Zomberex is gone. I am yet to see a replacement. Ponter and Chilko seem to be manning the forums meanwhile. This is not their only job. Actually this should not be their job at all. * Patches have hit Amun. They have work to do with Raven to make that pay off. *They actually asked for feedback from the community at early stage. They did this before they put anything to AMUN. This is positive.I think the Spanish version is still running. Compiling that will be hard. The post count there is over 700. * They asked for a compilation of the data by the English/International community. That is a first. Obviously they must weigh this decision if they indeed intend to take community advice on-board. I think they will. But, this takes time. Horus may be struggling but which is worse ? Rushing a half-baked idea forward or trying to deliver a deep and meaningful update that addresses much of the ills of the game. Personally, I hope for the latter. They did deliver a very good balance patch (unfinished) before warmasters update. It was done with community input. It can be done again. Well, I have been with the game a while and through thick and thin. I will wait a little bit longer. Life goes on. If your life is Regnum, you got bigger problems than you realise. You can thank me for saving the thread from the abyss of idiocy . Or you can continue to troll. My expectation is not very high so I will not be disappointed. Regards |
