Currently Syrtis is very bad, and it isn't only related to numbers.

Imho there is nothing wrong in the current situation, Syrtis went down, but it will rise again sooner or later.

Syrtis has for a long while abused their position. Its been long time for someone else to sit atop that mountain. And yes, eb and flow of life, someone will replace that someone sooner or later. Its the natural way of things. Players leave, new players come, these things change with time.

I find quite amusing that some people use the word "abuse" to describe often invasions. As if invasions were an "abuse". As if one realm is bad because is superior to other. Really, use your common sense people. Every realm is the same and has good and bad players. If you can't admit that then there is something wrong in your perception of things.
Every realm in the same position -that is with high number of players- does the same. Nothing wrong with that.
To me taking fortifications and invasions is not an abuse. That is the purpose of the game and nobody can blame Syrtis or Ignis or Alsius for doing it.
However there is a limit. To me an "abuse" is when you try to ridiculize your adversary by killing all the npc's inside a realm and gank the few low levels who were grinding around. This and only this is a stupid abuse of a situation.

Yes you are right. But i use abuse, because too often invasions break morale and bring other realms deeper and deeper into the hole. So it needs to be limit to invasions especially on lower populated servers, so there is no case one realm to invade 10+ times per week.

It is part NGD problem that there is no limit put on invasions.

As example 1 wish from every type per week and if this is reached - lock enemy gems, even lock nobles, remove dragon. Dunno put diminishing returns if realm abuses it's power.

Of course you can not stop users of playing the game. But Haven is quite fragile and if some realm starts to invade alot people simply stop to play or just move to the stronger realm.

Your perception of things is that Alsius killed all NPCs in Fisgael, not one or a few players from Alsius but Alsius actually collectively went around and wacked NPCs?

I have no idea of what went down, but that just sounds absurd.

Putting a limit to invasions might be a good idea in this server. If invasions take place too often this break the moral of the invaded realm. We have seen it in Alsius.

ieti disagree with you, for last 3-4 months you see syrtis underpop like 15-20 syrtis vs 25-30 alsius and 15-20 ignis playing togheter, so what's the problem invade and have a better plan to defend realm? I blame TDM and selfish players for that. And now you see many old players again on enemies realms.. are multirealmers or just like to play where that realm became strong?

I agree with you about invasions limit, with draconic, and the new invasion system too, I like the old invasion system before WM expansion, amazing fights on gate, now more or less :S

I'd say it this way, the very realm that has the most players will always be the strongest, as long as multirealming exists, "legal" and not forbidden by NGD there is absolutely nothing you can do against it.
