And prof. Inkster, my grandmother is elder then the "Wicca" movement, and my mother is elder then the new-age revivalist trend of Gardner's work. And I point this out not to speak ill of an interesting set of "naturalistic" beliefs but to light some attention on one of the last "true" shamanic cultures in the world: the Buryats, the aboriginal people of Olkhon (4th largest lake-bound island in the world, situated in Lake Baikal, the largest freshwater lake in the world by volume, Siberia). Other such cultures may be found among the Australian Aborigines, North-American Natives, among the Amazon tribes, South Korean mudangs and others... when they aren't caught by the vortex of modern world thus living on the fragile limb between their ancient teachings and contemporary lure.

Because it's very dandy to proclaim someone's atonement with nature just before starting a gasoline engine... or before turning on this computer where I'm writing I may add...

The good thing about the "Wicca" and other new age pro-nature theological sets is that they actually made something that otherwise would probably be impossible, to put nature on pop-culture's agenda. Now "nature" is a consumption good, better that then being just "a natural scenery"...

But nature's balance is seriously compromised and if there's something we should fear more then H_B's hell hounds (

) is the melting of polar regions.

Now... I don't have lyrics for this one but it's one of my favorite masterpieces.

Edit: however your age by your profile is 27, Gerald Gardener died in 1988 so how old were your ancestors to predate his work (not that i agree with Gardeners teachings) the reason i ask is this:
