Save Campers - Page 5

Today I've seen a BIG party of sytris camping Ignis save near samal.
Here are the proves :

1. sytris save camper Dragonet
2. sytris save camper Takola
3. sytris save camper Drath
4. sytris save camper Pretty

Camping??

We hit the save and retreated, or at least I did.

Intel caught me as I was heading back to Samal. Maybe you could ask him about that!!

In that "They all after me" screeny... where was I?? Oh that's right, I had ALREADY moved on!!

I didn't fire a single shot at anyone who remained stood at the altar itself.

And if we get consistently attacked by idiots at the altar when we're trying to retreat, they only have themselves to blame if we can't retreat quickly enough.

I think Dragonet and Takola were in and out too.

This is as bad as Witch's "save campers" thread and will only beget even more of this childish pettyness.

If you (Not you MAXDDARK but most of those who were with you!) break res-dizzyness and attack people who are retreating from your save... what else do you expect?

As for me personally camping... I was absent in the 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th screenshots which does help corroborate what I'm saying.

I've been there, you were waiting near the save just to kill us more and more...

Main reasons why I don't even attack save altars are:
1. It's too dangerous
2. Even if you meant to only attack it, others might have other "intentions"
3. When you try to leave, you might have to hang back to save your friends who are being attacked by people who have resurrected (if they have a good chance of killing the attackers, why shouldn't they try?), and thus you have to kill them again which, loosely speaking, makes you a camper even if you didn't mean to at first.

So I always try to discourage anyone going to the save, and if that fails I simply hang far back. If they decide to stay longer than necessary, I leave.

At least you did the right thing by leaving the altar, but IMO it'd be better if you simply avoided it in the first place. You weren't too desperate to have to come and attack them at saves, were you? You had the fort, all you had to do was wait for them to come. Patience is a virtue I learned from the likes of Xzorstlok, Pelicautghar and Zebedee

I agree. It does seem to be that way...

To avoid being labeled as a save-camper, the only thing you can do is avoid the save altogether... which I guess is what we'll have to try to do.

OK Drah, you were far away from the save and I have been convinced that you are not a save camper by yourself, you were leaded there by your party and your intentions were as clean as they can be.

But most of your party were save campers.

But I didn't kill Conversor because he run close to the save and I let him be.

This is not the thing that should be reported to NGD, because it IS in fact legal to camp saves.
It is just very not ethical but still legal.
If NGD would like to prevent it, they can put some guards around the save.

These threads are boring. I don't really know what people hope to achieve with them.

1. Surely a big party at your save is EASY RP. You can respawn as many times as you like. You don't have to run very far. 9 times out of 10, anyone getting that close to pozo save is dead within the minute. If you can't kill a party near your save then well... i despair.

2. I'm sorry but I don't think killing someone *near* a save is save camping. It's only save camping if you kill someone, wait for them to respawn and then somehow chase them while rez dizzyness is on. If they attack you and break rez, that's a legitimate counterattack.

Having a photo of someone "near" a save doesn't prove anything, just that whey were near a save. Like I'ts already been said, they aren't some kind of "dobby off ground" area. If someone runs to a save with a sliver of health left of course you're going to get chased!

4. To reiterate. People are NOT SAVE CAMPING IF THEY ARE ATTACKING PEOPLE NEAR THE ALTAR. Show me a picture of yo dead body right next to the altar, with someone standing over it and I'll think about it. but in all these photos it looks like you are not AFK, not got rez dizzyness on, and fighting. In none of them is anyone actually AT the altar gettting targetted.
