Haven't seen usable points to deal, just discovered last night so it was good to test with 120 INT is really big difference than before. So I've choose fire sub-skill but it seems that ice do better. Anyhow , gonna put all usable points into INT then I'll see how is going.

Can you re-allocate useable points after you allocate them for the first time? (kinda like /reset_powers?)

Yes usable points we can decrease from INT to put them to WIS for priests or LUC and DEX for archers. Only skill points for powers we cannot reset freely. It is payable. But when you learn in what power to put points you don't really care for reset. With default setting i was doing about 115 damage with storm and now with INT 120 I'm doing 300-320 on multiple targets in the same time.

game name is Shaiya, its smthg like WoW, though no flying units yet, and it s free. ofc, there are things like some potions etc that u can buy with aeria points (which can be bought with $ or in different activities that are every day or by inviting others via e mail). but all things u need, including mounts (there are one seat mounts and double seat mounts-two players on one mount, can save money to not buy 2 one seat mounts), armor, some potions, rings, amulets and others u can buy with gold. Dunno yet for capes, i m still lvl 25

u can upgrade weapons also for gold by adding into them lapis (or in armor) or take it lapis from weapon, for gold too. but of course there is chance to break it. its usually best time to do it when bless of godess is full (u ll see in that second godess appearing in front of u giving bless) and so on... point is u dont need to have aeria points so u can play, its like in regnum. and after all, there are ppl selling those premiums for gold in game.
i met there so far many many great ppl, especially priests and mages. every time i play we have great fun, and quick advance. i m playing this game for maybe week, and i m lvl 25, almost 26. all u need there is to find good party and u re on horse. friendships, party, party, party, quests, that s all u need in beginning. (ofc if u re fighter like me or maybe defender, u can lvl solo too). i met there few holas too and spoke with them a bit (while we were waiting Asmo, Dungeon 1 boss to respawn). i like this game because every spell works correctly, atributes works correctly and so on, not like in regnum where u must use profits to find out if spell works ok, if concentration atribut really works etc.

I can think of 1000 reasons to close this thread and remove it from the foruns.

The first would be lack of ethics...

The second would be... make a game discussion forum and invite the RO community to participate on it, I would be glad to talk about all games I tried, their cool stuff and bad things, but to use a thread on another game forum to do it!?...

dont bullshit. i already told it might be nice game while server is down what to play and introduce/answer on few questions about it. dont suffer from selective reading. i did invite none here.

well, I would call it to have an open mind and to be tolerant...we are free to speech about ever we want. Only thing is...it should be in the inn because it is not related to aspects of regnum online.

I see no problem to talk about other games in the forums...

I agree. Regnum is not a religion, so there is no "blasphemy" of discussing alternates. Also competition is good for us all, and maybe if NGD sees some of the games we are interested in, it will encourage them to fix the friggin' bugs, make fort battles more interesting and useful, improve balance and add more interesting content.

I believe that somewhere in the neighborhood of 50% +/- 10% of Regnum players are Linux users. I would be interested in hearing about MMORPG alternatives that run on a Linux platform.

The only other MMORPG with a Linux client is Planeshift, but it's not worth trying. It sucks so bad. Graphics are twice as jerky as Regnum, the server is highly unstable, only a handful of spells work, magic is so underpowered it is useless (example: killing one easy monster with magic takes all your mana, then it takes almost 18 minutes to fully regain your mana), no character variety, weapons all look alike, no mounts, pathetic animation, etc.

If you know of any other decent MMORPG with a Linux client, I would love to hear a review of it here.

Well I'll repeat again : I never mentioned the name of the game. And yes, since NGD removed ranged pets from hunters
I've lost fun to play RO, because when I discovered RO we had ranged pets so is hard to me to accept that changes. And then what is we have actually: Samal, Agge, Samal, Trelle and so on, always the same. I wont mention the guy who said it will back in RO just to regain first place on ranking 30 players list, so he play just for that, not because the game is good or for fun, ans so on.
