and that is an excellent point, save_the_trees...

I don't use SOTW, or camo atm, nevermind that combo (which i have never/never will use) lol. And it was lame because of the fact i was 9 lvls lower than the warlock, 1 higher than the conj... and they had 2 vs 1 advantage... thats why it was lame lol.

but i still killed the conjurer 2 vs 1 on me...

I don't think it was 'team play', i think it was 'ptness'

The conjurer waited 10m behind the warlock, I cast ambush (1) on the warlock, cast beastial wrath and went for the conj, he died quiet quickly, only getting 1 spell on me (beetle swarm). Its just a shame that people have to resort to such low motives to beat a lvl 41.. ^^

i don't like this ethic behaviour in fights.
everyone should play at his best to kill his enemy, using all the spell combo (sotw, camo, confuse, mod, aoo, etc...)
it's also a matter of respect of your enemy.
and use powerfull spell (with an high mana cost) at the end of the fight demonstrate a good management of mana.

This dude had no respect then. 2 vs me, he uses MoD straight off the bat, so I keep behind him and go for the conj. Looks like people want the cancel spell behind back thing fixed. Go figure, people can't handle losing, the picked a class with slow casting, not my fault. Right?

P.S. this dude had no arcane devotion, so its his fault, but MoD... grr speaking of God modes. ^^

Get caught by a staff mastery warlock with MoD and Static field at high level, the 2 skills can't be resisted, you will see if it's fun :] A SM lock with a twin viper staff does 50% more DPS than you at short range, and i'm sure you know it.

Unlike you i think it's not very smart to use them. Look how "fun" and "respectful" to do it, a good ol' freeze/mod (aka god mode) combo hehe :

i only disagree when i read "use powerful spells in 1vs1 is unfair"
i prefer fights without limitations, even if i get pwned.

drv, it was 2 vs 1 in my situation, lvl 50 warlock, lvl 40 conjurer vs my lvl 41 hunter. I limited my setup out of respect, what i think is overpowered or gives me too much of an advantage, so no confuse/SOTW/spell elude.
Fair enough, MoD is a spell that warlocks have and its fine if they use, but when they have better numbers vs 1 player it is lame and disrespectful IMO. Also, i killed the conj w/o any of these spells i mentioned, i rock.

Iuse MoD on people like julius.. Why? why not he doesnt fight he hits you twice you hit him twice he runs..so MoD and mind push him, get him a little mad, and if an archer wants to use SoW in a pvp i use MoD..

no idea why mod is lame spell and meteor isnt or confuse. both are spells and are ingame for you. you just need ones you think they best suit you tactics/play/personality.
and allowing someone to tell me which spells are lame and which are ok while i meet them, is just retarded, that wont ever happen at least to me.

i hate mod, but still i dont run away because of that fact when i see xuk. Its just opposite: his mod is like he is painted already with death sentence mark, fully focus. there is no warlock with mod that wasnt hit by me at least once.

same to sotw. cant hit many time through it but this morning ethereal passed it and killed running hunter. that one little thing, my spell going through spell i hate on enemies, made me smile whole day like kid when gets candy.

live with it, its just spell, like any others. barb can say that retalitaion is lame if he casts sc for 2k dmg and it returns to him. etc. its just plain stupid to call someone lamer just because he used spell you dont like. none play for you, they play for themselves and they play to kill you. you should always have that in head. and its only up to you if you re going to break custom of constant killing and spare someone s life or not.

its not at all weird that this kind of topic is in the inn and not general discussion. you cannot tell anyone how they will play. ignis like camping saves, i like protecting saves. i hate them because i consider save camping dishonorable act but i will not say: hey you lammers, dont save camp, its lame because i think that! they dont think same if they are still savecamping. thats game, thats wz, those are spells given. learn to deal with it or go watch sunset in inner. simply as that, game is not complex and all you have to do is to pick which way you ll go: camp forums and whine or go get your satisfaction killing enemies that are using spells that you dont like.
