Por cierto, mi maquina:
Intel C2D 2.8Ghz. placa Ati 2600 4gb de ram Windows xp sp3 con todos los updates. Por si las dudas, aclaro que es una Intel iMac corriendo Windows por Boot Camp. Hasta donde tengo entendido no deberia haber diferencia. |

La señal wifi del router es buena.
He probado sin router en el equipo de sobremesa. Los resultados han mejorado un poco con respecto a lo anterior pero se siguen perdiendo paquetes. Para estar más seguros de que el router interfiere en el rendimiento debería haber hecho las pruebas seguidas. Sin embargo, no he podido realizarlas seguidas. traceroute: Code:

Dee-Lux: con el hotspot shield tenés una pérdida de paquetes enorme, dudo que funcione mejor.
El traceroute es una utilidad para ver por dónde pasa la información en internet. Nos sirve para ver si hay un nodo en común, si la compañía rutea los datos por demasiados saltos y ver la latencia entre cada uno.

Prueba a jugar con el hotspot shield desactivado y postea si te va bien y no te tira el mensaje de connection problem.

El ping nos informa a ver la pérdida de paquetes... Quiero ver si tenés un número elevado (ya 20% es bastante).
Si no es un factor en común entonces tenemos dos problemas distintos, no uno...
