You might think that is wasn't very honourable of the hunter to hunt down the conjurer, the hunter might think the same of you using a summon while it apparently was a PvP, which gave you an unfair advantage.
(my answer to your coming post: yes the summon did gave you an unfair advantage)

LOL Army of One has no explanation, funny. Yes i agree with the points, especially if you're knight, use Army of One kill the pet easily, disable limb if u have that, or else hunter will probably get away, if you don't want them to run away at end of fight, try shield bash, it will prevent them from using spells to run.
If you are knight without Army of One, i suggest quick caution and avoid the pet go straight for the hunter, he will probably keep fighting you because his pet is alive and he thinks he will win that way, but if you knock and disable limb and just attack you should be ok. I only give advice to other knights, because thats all i have played

Not if you shield bash and have at least the lv 1 spring ^^ They will not be able to run away. I use disable limb 4 though, i don't know if lv 1 would slow them down enough.

my experience with hunters with pets is either they cast ambush on me when I'm alone then proceed to maul me or they run/camo when I'm with a large group
I'm not saying these tactics are dishonorable or cheap since hunters are relatively weak so they don't really have much choice (those hunters who DON'T do the above but still kick butt, I applaud you ) I have a lvl35-ish marks who once encountered a lvl40-ish (or higher) hunter with a pet, I ignored the pet and directly attacked the hunter: he was able to ambush me so that his pet (which was a wolf with 'challenging' below its name) could catch up to me and pretty soon his dual shot and ensnaring arrow finished me off being a marks, I was able to inflict some dmg which left the hunter a mere 15-20% hp before I died, despite the fact I was mostly in grind set-up if that wolf hadn't been there, I would have had him, but it would also not have been fair on the hunter's part I understand that I had a range class so I didn't have the problems that all melee classes face, but marks have their own problems like fast mana usage and lag (which is universal ) so hunters with pets should be considered fair since they might not be as useful without them and even with pets there's ways to beat them (I think ultimate and kyrottimus mentioned some)
