Since I moved from Syrtis to Alsius I have been apart of atleast 4 real invasion attempts...

The issue is Alsius is a realm of alts - many, many ppl from Syrtis and Ignis have alts in Alsius - how are u supposed to invade when ur enemies already know its coming???

Sorry I had to leave just before your invasion, I'm sure you would've been stuck outside if I had stayed

but I had a CD launch to go to for which the ticket was already bought (also my partner would have brutalised me for not going).

As for the realm of alts thing, well. I'm sure most of Ignis would like to see Alsius pull off a portal opening, you guys deserve it. On the other hand, we're not going to just stand aside while you steal our gems. However, I ain't ever seen anyone come on Ignis yelling out "OMG OMG I WAZ JUSTIN ALSEERS AND I HEARED THEYS MAKKIN INVAYSHUN ATTEMPT!" before you rush our forts. I think the big hurdle Alsius really faces is that it takes you so much danged time to reach enemy castles

IMO if NGD's not going to fix the map they should at least install a teleporter that goes from, say, your gate (inside) straight to the swamp, because it's pretty obvious what you're doing when you, eg, take Menirah and Samal, then the Menirah forces all run for our gate teleporter.

True... but I have on Syrtis realm chat... And actully we never plan to invade Ignis. - we need to stick together against the green zerg of death

I was only there for the third attempt, but Ignis did well and had fun (as far as i can gather) we were kind of outnumbered, but like i told them, we are Ignis and we rawk

But anyway, came here to say good job and gratz to Syrtis, its nice to see someone else attempt and successfully complete an invasion

yep, i agree, my tracks (im still to stupid to use screens) where 23w 29a 28m from syrtis direction, so +-10 that werent in a line that makes quite a lot, vs the +-40 ignis i tracked, and there were not even 20 alsius at our gate, of which where lots of low lvl, and even then(at least I cant) we cant do anything, due to roofs etc so i could only target at second gate, which didnt work since 3 conjs failed to see me dead 1m away from them.

So gratz syrtis, nice tactic, keep humping trees and hope even more gelfs come out of them
