But why prevent it? Conjurers sacrifice a lot to play a support role, and being able to resurrect is one of their most important functions. Cremation just makes good fights end prematurely, and gives the false illusion that you're making progress in a farm.

That false illusion is the only thing that keeps Ignis going at samal these days.

I think people are misunderstanding the point of my initial post. I'm not calling for changes to the spell, I'm calling the people who use it on level 5 tossers. It's a real enthusiasm breaker, that someone felt it was cool to kill your game by forcing you out of the action for several minutes.
Hell, mostly it's when it happens in Syrtis. I guess you just have so many players that badly-played warlocks need to force people back to the save to feel useful.

On my lvl 50 lock I have Cremate at 4, and it took a lot of convincing to get it there from lvl 2. Yes, there is still a chance for it to fail, but lately the Random Number God has smiled on me.

Like Any and others have stated, it's about the only equalizer again a zerg and can eventually help end a farming session.

I will likely keep it at lvl 4 because I would rather use that one point for mana pylon in conjunction with MoD at a fort door. I just cant justify making it lvl 5 at this point.

Well, after a little (vry little ) thought how about changing it to a 'disrupt spiritual bond' spell. Instead of sending you back to the save, it stops you being rez'd for say 1 minute per lvl.

Thou as i said, I'd rather it sent you back to your realm gate, just to equal out the effect more.
