If your resources are stuck, it doesnt have to mean all of them are stuck
If there stuck, write down the number(s) and download it/them individually

Dont think that will do anything for you, they still have to be added to the data files by the game, need to download the resource, calculate the md5 and post the resource number and md5 hash here. The PC that I was having this problem with is updated ok.

ok, after that small hotfix today, those 600 resources i had to load went up to like 9k... i guess ill just wait some time and hope, that it will sometimes work again >.<

about that md5 stuff: though i somewhat know what it is, i cant really do anything with it.

and @surak: i dont really know if my ISP requires a transparent http proxy. i dont need one, unless you switched only recently (before that last update) to an untransparent one.

Ran in same issues. Since my sdb files were ~500MB more then for other users i figured it couldnt hurt to redownload to get rid of eventual orphaned entries.

Now i have a "slight" problem with getting back into the game :/

Edit: Weird, i just activated res_download_log and i didnt run into any error yet. Ill report back.

I give up for now and roll back to the old sdb files, but something is defenitely wrong with the ressource download/hashs.

Edit3: With the rolled back sdb files (tehyre like some days old) i now have ingame ressources loading and failing. i have "download all at once" unchecked.

ok, so i tried installing regnum on my 4-years old laptop (Dell Vostro 1710) and regnum runs without the slightest error... so my ISP is definitely not the mistake here...

You got no errors downloading ressoures there using the same network?

Right. I just mounted my local install as a network share in my vmware and it runs without any resource updating +.-

Only difference sould be the gfx settings. Same database and files.

Enio is confused.

Edit: Hold on, i can run it in fixed pipeline without those resources to be requested - on Shader Model 4.0 these get requested and fail. That might be the case for you too with your old notebook.
