I've never had any bad experiences with gm's on Raven when I played there. I bet if you start swearing at them in realm chat of course they would do something, I think that would apply in Horus too if Surak came on for example and some people started being really offensive with him or something. I like how Horus wz isn't really moderated at all though, hope that doesn't change. And really hope that my screen won't be spammed with giant messages every 20 minutes either.

Other than that the only thing that bugs me is I have my knight in Ignis on Raven so I kind of have to stop playing him completely as I myself don't want to multirealm on the same server. So kinda sucks because I liked alot of the people in that server.

I look forward to this though, the population increase alone is worth it for me. Now ignis night crew in Horus will have people to fight in my timezone

Do all those people from Raven get there money back?
Lots of people came from Horus. Went raven to get away from evil horus. They payed money for it to lvl as soon as possible.. Now they get ported back to the server they wanted to go away from? :P

Could you remove my ban from my barb 1 day earlier so i can enjoy the old horus with my barb and knight? I have been a good boy

And you will give me back all the money I spent levelling characters on RA before NGD created Horus too?

Of course that is not going to happen. They've already got their money's worth if they played the characters for even a few months, that's just how NGD works.

Well, going by past experiences on Horus...we get a 24 hour boost, war sucks, it's pretty much non existant, really, so hard to get a decent team up to do anything with, a few hunters around, but with the WM coin's only obtainable at forts, maybe it wont be so bad...time will tell. (maybe that's just me tho :P )

I guess i do see it as a bit invasive, like a few have mentioned, Horus is a pretty grown up server, alot of us are 25+ and do not relish the 'sunshine and rainbows' coming our way..we like to play rough and talk rough sometimes, were grown ups , thats the way the world is...

But thank you Forks for your replies, a few things put to rest for some, i still have a few worries, but like i said, i will wait and see how it goes..good luck NGD...just remember Tyr...how many still actively play Horus?

The game is always alot better when you play, so I definitely hope to see you around alot more (as real life allows, of course).

Don't be that afraid of saying bad words in realm chat that much.
I whine a lot about bugs there and most of the time GMs listen silently and sometimes respond (such as we know about it, we contacted devs, or we will contact devs, ...).
I've said f*ck or sh*t so many times in realm chat. Most of the time they just tell you to be careful about your language. Worst thing that happened to me was that I got muted for a while for saying "f*ck me" when i got killed by enemy inside realm. They understand those words can just slip here and there and they won't ban you for it if you won't keep saying that on purpose.
And they just moderate realm chat. They don't care at all what you say in general, party, clan, ...

I don't swear like a sailor but I do like to imbue my sentences with a bit of colour from time to time, for emphasis mostly.
My concern is that I'll get flagged down by some moderator who happened to take something I said too seriously (As people often do around me, unfortunately).
