Hi! Here's my problem, and I think it should be on Known Problems, because after all, I'm used the dreaded Jaunty (Even so, I love it, hehe).
I done everything that was said in the post of the fake root and it helped me a lot for, finally, opening a Launcher and actually entering the game. For the first time of using RO in this computer, I even watch the video (in Hardy, there was no video at all). But here's the problem. An image is worth one thousand words, right? This is how I see the game, with or without Compiz. Everything deactivated and even tried safe mode, but it was the same. Any ideas? http://img30.imageshack.us/img30/423...9061304495.jpg http://img190.imageshack.us/img190/7...9061304505.jpg http://img190.imageshack.us/content....9061304511.jpg On terminal, it started too appear this: Quote:

Delayed audio
Hi all, before starting i must say that i'm very happy that a such beautiful game has linux client...
anyway i've got a problem: In one of my desktop workstation i use mandriva 2009.1 that uses pulseaudio... i have 1 integrated audio card 1 usb xifi audio adapter and 1 usb microphone from the logitech webcam when i play there's a lag of some _SECONDS_ in audio output respect of when the action is realized on video... I dunno if it's a problem of pulseaudio but i cannot disable it due to the ability to transfer streams over the cards... Do you know how to fix or some workarounds to my problem? btw in another computer i use ubuntu jaunty and there's no problem... Thanks for all |

Launcher wont start!
I'm new to the Linux Ubuntu Jaunty, and I can't get the launcher to start. I've tried to download it again because that seemed to work with other apps that wouldn't. I have absolutly no clue what to do about this. Please help?

You just have to change the permissions on the file. Right click it, then go to properties and go to permissions. Check "execute this file" (or something like that) and you're good to go!

Please, open up a console and give me the output of the following command:
(alt+f2 and write gnome-terminal) lspci | grep VGA

As far as I know, this Intel chipset doesn't have direct rendering (the thing that let's you play Regnum). You need an ATi or nVidia graphics adapter (though the Intel 950 family works, but really bad).

Do you know where and for what price I can get eigther of those? Cuz every website that I've been to sais this is a great game (and I've been on here all day trying to figure out how to get it to work). Actually nvm imma just ask some friends if they have the nVidia cuz they always have some random graphics cards, or any computer equiptment lying around somewhere.
