As a hunter I don't care if you kill my pet. It's not like there aren't others I could get. Sure, some people have to travel far and wide to get a good one...who cares. Suck it up. Or, choose a build that doesn't rely on pets.

Kill the pets, if you CHOOSE to not have points in revive then it's your choice. If you CHOOSE to stay and fight and die instead of running away, it's your choice. Don't use a pet is the simplest strategy to avoid this.

I guess the case is the following:
NGD introduced the counter and they forgot that this affects Hunters and Conjurers, too. By the way, in my opinion the counter is a very bad word around for this problem, but I stated this several times before. I heard from several players by private chat (irc/jabber etc) that rp still get lost, regardless to the counter. And I did not expect something different. There are so many small changes in the game that are connected to each other and sometimes I get the feeling that NGD seems to forget about these chains. The counter does not fix the problem, nor is it useful by any means. I maxed the pet tree anyway and the 90 seconds of reviving cooldown is no big deal for me but this small "mistakes" are annyoing. Pets and summons should at least become invincible when the counter appears. Of course they should not be able to attack.

I won't kill the pets of hunters unless they pull some chickensht move such as waiting for a mob to get me below half before unstealthing and attacking. Those pussies lose their pets. As do the ones who gank lowbies then run from an even fight.

What do you mean, only not hunters? I played a hunter since June, a long time before there was a such a thing as revive pet or the simple fact that the pet stays when you log off.

Hmm...
I could very well make a thread about people not killing my stolen zarkit when I die, but I won't, and it is a lot more difficult to steal a decent lvl zarkit(80% of my zarkits are Very Easy or Unchallenging)...but I won't. It annoys the enemy when they have to go and do something again, just like how it annoys the enemy when they're killed while lvling and have to walk back from the save. |
