Sprell is a very good player, and well respected by all daggers alike. |

Speaking of tactics. It is said that Syrtis fights without being organised. And sometimes I think it's kind of unfair. IMHO Syrtis is really good to break the others organisation. What I've seen recently is player coming from the flank to split ennemies group. Yes if you can isolate fighters from their support you are in a very good position to win a battle.
That may explain why we are so bad at fighting over a bridge where we need to adapt our tactic to our skill more than just fight like we do. And a lot better when we fight in the open. Syrtis keep fighting against the evil dwarfes and darkelves. And don't forget that our trees are nicer than whatever they call tree in Alsius and Ignis

There *definitely* was a bigger average ratio of skill/member in the OoD than most other clans in syrtis. It is a *fact* that Syrtis lost a great deal of good tactic players when they left.
The whole attitude issue is just that, another issue. Personaly I never had problems in-game with any dagger -including Val- when I was *not* in their clan. While I was in their clan, I have no reason to complain, since it's their own territory and they can be however they like. It just wasn't my cup of tea as ppl say, and I ended up getting kicked out The problem, I can only guess cause I am rather new, lies in the fact that sometimes Val assumed things in Syrtis ought to be the way they are within his clan. That's just plain wrong, and I assume he understands that too. But in any case, ppl can always use /ignore when they dont want to listen to someone. So, I'll be glad if the OoD becomes active in Syrtis again, they'll definitely bring the skill level of Syrtis up. Just a word of caution to people: GIGO said it right, OoD is plain war. That comes with a certain way of how things work within the clan, so be prepared for it.

BTW, Valorius is back, for a while at least. OoD is thinking of changing games again, and in the meantime, Val has come back here.

Syrtis is often using Regnum as instant messenger, standing at central and talking. i believe big part of fault might be lag.
Welcome back Valorius (though we spoke this morning)
