TO Those playing this game: to be competitive in pvp, how much ongoing expense is required? I understand that there are potions that grant +95% attacks. How often would one need to purchase these and for how much to be fully competitive? Is it $10/month or $40/Month, etc?

I don't suffer of selective reading, and the proof of that is I read the thread since beginning... and even tried to discover the game by myself. The thread became an issue for me when it left the "I've tried this stuff and I want to tell you what I think" to the "lets openly discuss why this *mentioned* game might be better then RO":

For game reviews either you search gamespot and similar or browse the net for a blog (probably the later will provide a more honest opinion...).

Last but not least, I won't tell you what you should or shouldn't do, discuss games if you want, don't discuss them if you don't want to. Still cannot finish Asmo quest too hard. On what level you've done that quest?

i ve done it at about 21 i think, while still all mobs in dungeon were yellow or green. asmo is orange or red. its very hard to kill it (since he is using magics too), but i had excellent party and "personal healer" in that party (since i m fighter->making dmg, and he is my friend too). in that game its most important to have excellent party, rest is joke.
just one thing, Asmo is respawning every RL hour. We were late 10 mins so we waited 1h .... but was worth, reward of quest was Lapis (3 offered, u pick one) if i remember correctly. gonna check some heroic weapons (weapons on which u can add those lapises as boost), ill let u know what i did. lets continue about game details via pm, so others can discuss about topic here.

I've lost fun to play RO, because when I discovered RO we had ranged pets so is hard to me to accept that changes. And then what is we have actually: Samal, Agge, Samal, Trelle and so on, always the same. I wont mention the guy who said it will back in RO just to regain first place on ranking 30 players list, so he play just for that, not because the game is good or for fun, ans so on.

I think the 'guy' you're talking about is actually ranked in the top 15 overall. :-P
