Laugh all you want children and post songs that have to do with a man wanting to get rid of a plump female (gph), a song about a duck lost in a pool of reason (ct) or a song about alcohol (Aw_d)...
But all your laughing will end here... For with this song, from its reading, you will bend on knee and know what truth is! Quote:
And as so, you shall die! /Hell_bound laughs uncontrollably

This post needs a quality overhaul...
"Huida de Nueva York (Dos valses hacia la civilización) - Pequeño Vals Vienés" by Federico García Lorca And because I feel like it: The force that through the green fuse drives the flower Drives my green age; that blasts the roots of trees Is my destroyer. And I am dumb to tell the crooked rose My youth is bent by the same wintry fever. The force that drives the water through the rocks Drives my red blood; that dries the mouthing streams Turns mine to wax. And I am dumb to mouth unto my veins How at the mountain spring the same mouth sucks. The hand that whirls the water in the pool Stirs the quicksand; that ropes the blowing wind Hauls my shroud sail. And I am dumb to tell the hanging man How of my clay is made the hangman's lime. The lips of time leech to the fountain head; Love drips and gathers, but the fallen blood Shall calm her sores. And I am dumb to tell a weather's wind How time has ticked a heaven round the stars. And I am dumb to tell the lover's tomb How at my sheet goes the same crooked worm. "The force that through the green fuse drives the flower" by Dylan Thomas Last but not least... Kisses for everyone (specially that lady there). Cya...

Ah Signatus my friend, such a long time since I last heard from you...
Good to see that you are still around... Hehe, Signatus such the dark romantic - I like very much the first piece... Dissected doves, cognac, a melancholic corridor, a died book (which I'll assume is the book of the dead), garlands of weeping, irises of snow, lilies, violins and tombs... If only women saw such darkly things as pleasurable, but perhaps maybe they would if shown "in the morning in the museum of the frost" ... None-the-less, you are a man after my own heart... .'. The second piece is of beauty too... In it a sense, I get, of life as a river which changes men... But in the end dries the blood of man... The hope of love exists, but ends in sores... And though man be of clay, this is not why he be dumb... This feeling of dumb comes from a sense of limitation... That life ends, that love does not always mend, that he feels no connection to this world (or perhaps his connection to it is to strong, being made of clay and will one day return to dust - no escape - earth become a prison under this view)... This in a way represents the manifest hollow that exists in every human... Yes, a very good and wise piece indeed! .'. And now the third piece... Complex indeed, yet confusing for the translation of Portuguese to English wasn't complete... Though it seemed to be of a man that spoke, in keys of a note, but as he spoke there was nothing... Yet somehow the things he speaks exists in all people... If you can, please post a complete English translation... .'. Now three songs for you my friend, but do note that the audience (in the last song) is made up of spirits... Quote:

However, I would like to thank you for your kind words... It's rare to find an individual such as you... Even rarer is the statement, "Any reaction is good" ... Spoken like a true artist, dragonladyuk! Yet I would like to ask you that if there is any song(s) that speak to you to share with all of us - the ways that the song(s) speaks to you... Doing this will help some (rather me) to make other connections with ideas within song(s), and surrounding issues... But again dragonladyuk, thank you for your kind words.

Well heres the lyrics to a song that i cant stop listening to at the moment..
Standing in the way of control Your back's against the wall There's no-one home to call You're forgetting who you are You can't stop crying It's part not giving in And part trusting your friends You'll do it all again And I'm not lying Oh oh oh oh ohh Oh ohh Oh ohh Oh oh oh oh ohh Oh ohh Standing in the way of control You live your life Survive the only way that you know I'm doing this for you Because it's easier to lose And it's hard to face the truth When you think you're dying It's part not giving in And part trusting your friends You'll do it all again But you don't stop trying Oh oh oh oh ohh Oh ohh Oh ohh Oh oh oh oh ohh Oh ohh Standing in the way of control You live your life Survive the only way that you know Oh ohh Oh oh oh oh ohh Oh ohh Oh ohh Oh oh oh oh ohh Oh ohh Standing in the way of control We live our lives Because we're standing in the way of control We will live our lives Because we're standing in the way of control We live our lives Because we're standing in the way of control We will live our lives Your back's against the wall There's no-one home to call You're forgetting who you are You can't stop crying It's part not giving in And part trusting your friends You'll do it all again You don't stop trying Oh oh oh oh ohh Oh ohh Oh ohh Oh oh oh oh ohh Oh ohh Standing in the way of control You live your life Survive the only way that you know Lyrics by Beth Ditto |
