There is lag enough in cities, wait till you see people fighting and buffing.
Sorry but I personally don't think it'll work for awhile, there is just too much uhm... open land in Regnum, this isn't going to be like a seige to a town, it'll just be open killing of random people how fun. Hows it going to affect levelers, I think it'll make huge stress, right now the game is being fought just horde on player, not player on player like it used to be. Quote:

In my opinion cities should not be fought in, because im saying, the lag will be insane. There should be 5 pillars of control around a city, and players would need to conquer those, they get them, and the city changes to their favor, meaning flags, native NPC's, etc. Anyway can't say shit till it comes out, but thats what I think it'll be like I like the effort into this, but there are things that come before this in my opinion. I foresee hordes of reds or greens storming into the Alsius inner realm, totally confident that they can hold us for a long time.
I foresee beleagured Alsius forces struggling desperately to fight off 2, 3 or even 4 times their number. I foresee Alsius rarely taking the enemy inner realms because like someone said, our armies rarely even make it to Herb, and when they do they hold it for only a few small minutes before they are overrun - so what hope of taking/holding the enemy inner realm? I hope this (virtual) nightmare doesn't come true - maybe realm balance will be better by the time invasion comes. |

Invasion rasies a few questions for me.
When your realm gate has been over run and your realm has been invaded, will this mean the gate will belong to the invading realm? If so will you still be able to spawn there? Will there be a flag capture sytem for the towns? I am looking forward to invasions, although I can foresee it on Horus being quite hard, meh I have my Ra chars still Nice work NGD EDIT** /me waits in stalker for Alsius to break Ignis gate and sneaks in un-noticed
